Mother Nature Tested Juniors at 2017 Bridgestone Golf Prestige Tour Season Opener

HUMBLE, TX – The Southern Texas PGA opened its 2017 Bridgestone Golf Prestige Tour season this weekend when 105 juniors teed off at the Prestige Tour Premiere at the Golf Club of Houston.

Saturday’s first round saw 10 juniors shoot under-par, despite being plagued with the aftermath of overnight rain. The juniors couldn’t catch a break with Mother Nature during the final round on Sunday. They pushed through the extreme wind and the top three juniors were recognized in each age division.  Below is an overview of low rounds posted in each age division. Click here to view full results.

Congratulations to all the winners!

Ranson Jacobson earned exemption into the Texas State Junior and Byron Nelson Junior, while Elina Sinz received an exemption into the George Hannon Invitational. On top of earning her exemption, Sinz aced Hole 7. Way to go Elina!
