The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program was formed to introduce and provide youth in Southern Texas the opportunity to learn, play, and compete while playing golf. The program is open to juniors ages 6-18 and offers 5-hole, 9-hole, 18-hole, and 36-hole tournaments in a combination of five different tours.

A one-time membership fee of $80 is required in order to participate in the Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program. All memberships expire on December 31 of each year, regardless of when a junior becomes a member. We encourage all juniors to register at the beginning of the year. With your membership, members are able to play in all three series at no additional cost.

With your membership you will receive the following:

  • STPGA Tee Gift

  • USGA Rule Book or PGA Rules of Golf Summary Book

  • STPGA Bag Tag

  • Online Statistical Analysis and Scoring

  • A GHIN Handicap Index provided by the Texas Golf Association

The STPGA offers five different programs. Members are allowed to participate in any program that they are age eligible for. However, we encourage people to find the correct program for them and participate in that program until the juniors skill set is ready for the next step.

  • PGA Junior League is open to juniors ages 6-13
  • The Little Linksters program is open to all juniors ages 6-12
  • The Junior Links Tour is open to all juniors ages 13-18
  • The Junior Tour is open to all juniors ages 11-18
  • The Prestige Tour is open to juniors ages 13-18
