JUNIOR TOUR SPRING CHAMPIONSHIP
The Junior Tour Spring Championship is an exclusive event for the top junior golfers between the ages of 11 and 18 in the STPGA Junior Golf program. Juniors participate in Spring Series events from January to April to accumulate points and qualify for this Championship. This event marks the first of three Junior Tour Championships in the calendar year.
2026 Dates and Location
The Junior Tour Spring Championship will take place on May 2–3, 2026, at Forest Creek Golf Club. The weekend is set to be filled with skill and competition as we continue to develop and inspire lifelong golfers through the Junior Tour.
2026 Spring Championship Invitation Breakdown
The STPGA has outlined how many players will receive an invitation to The STPGA Spring Championship based on their points earnings at the end of the Spring Series on April 26th. As stated in our Junior Golf Rules and Regulations, our Championship fields are a direct representation of our entire program based on both the number of players in each metro area and the number of players in each division.
The Spring Championship Invitation breakdown went off participation through early March, percentages this year in each metro, and historical data. The STPGA team sends out extra invitations during the process to ensure our fields are full. Once the division and tournament reaches maximum capacity, we will no longer accept registrations. It is the players’ responsibility to register right away once they receive their invite to secure their spot Below is the Invitation Breakdown for the Little Linksters Spring Championship.

Texas Junior Cup Exemptions
The Texas Junior Cup Matches is an annual competition between the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Junior Tours’ top six boys and top six girls ages 9-12 played at Sand Hill Farm. The Matches that take place each Fall are a way for top juniors to compete against our rival section to the north.
There are various championships for players to earn a spot on the Southern Texas PGA Texas Junior Cup Matches team.
Below are the events in which the champion will earn a spot to represent Team STPGA.
Spring Series Championship on May 2-3, 2026:

Insperity Invitational Tour Championship Exemptions
The Insperity Invitational Tour Championship for the Srixon Prestige Tour is an annual competition for the strongest players of the STPGA Junior Golf Program as a way to reward the success of the many junior golfers on the tour.
