STPGA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP LITTLE LINKSTERS

The STPGA Junior Championship is the largest exclusive event for the top junior golfers between the ages of 6 and 12 in the STPGA Junior Golf program. The field size ranges from 100-130 players. Juniors participate in Summer Series events from May to July to accumulate points and qualify for this Championship. This event marks the second of three Little Linksters Championships in the calendar year.

2026 Dates and Locations

The 2026 STPGA Junior Championship - Little Linksters will be hosted on August 3-5, 2025, at The Woodlands Country Club - Palmer Course.

1. Once invitations are sent, invited players will have 24 hours to register or decline their invitation. After a player declines or no action has been completed in 24 hours, the invited player will lose their spot and the next player from the same division/metro area Points List will be invited. This process will continue until the division is full. If there are no players next on the same list, the spot will revert to the overall division Points List.

2. Players in the top 5% overall of their respective division of the Points List will receive an invitation regardless of the allocated spots per metro area in the division. Meaning if you did not qualify in your metro, players have the opportunity to qualify via overall points for the division. If these spots are not needed, this does not mean the STPGA will invite more players.

3. The STPGA reserves the right to invite players based on the overall division Points List on Friday, July 31st in order to complete the playing field. The field will be considered final as of Friday, July 31st at 12:00 p.m.

4. If at the end of the season a metro area and division does not have a player, the invitation will be redistributed to the overall points list within the respective division outside of the top 5%. If these spots are not accepted, the STPGA will not invite more players.

Texas Junior Cup Exemptions

The Texas Junior Cup Matches is an annual competition between the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Junior Tours’ top six boys and top six girls ages 9-12, played at Sand Hill Farm. The Matches that take place each Fall are a way for top juniors to compete against our rival section to the north.


Champions from Little Linksters divisions will earn their spot on the 2026 Texas Junior Cup team:
