San Antonio, TX (April 18-19, 2026) –   The Srixon Prestige Tour went back to San Antonio this past weekend for the 2026 Alamo City Shootout, hosted at Cedar Creek Golf Course! Our junior golfers battled through challenging weather conditions and a competitive field to show off their impressive skills.

Hayden Gold Claims Boys 15–18 Title at the Alamo City Shootout


Hayden Gold's impressive second round launched him to a victory in a competitive field in San Antonio. He improved on his Round 1 score by four strokes on Sunday, bringing him to even par in the round and rising three spots on the leaderboard. His performance earned him the tournament Title and exemptions to the 2026 Huntington Bank Byron Nelson Junior Championship and the 2026 Texas Junior Amateur on the Legends Junior Tour!

Katherine OKeefe Claims Girls 15-18 & Overall Title at the Alamo City Shootout


Katherine OKeefe earned the Girls 15-18 and Overall Girls Title with an explosive Round 2 performance. She finished Saturday tied for sixth, then rose to the top by shooting an impressive 73 on Sunday. Her four birdies in Round 2 sealed the tournament Title and earned her an exemption to the 2026 Texas Junior Amateur on the Legends Junior Tour!

Gavin Martinez Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Alamo City Shootout


Gavin Martinez's steady performance through both days of the Alamo City Shootout earned him the victory in his division. He shot a 75 (+3) in each round, staying consistent despite the challenging weather conditions, and had four total birdies to keep him in first position for the Boys 11-14 Title!

Pippa Fikes Claims Girls 11-14 Title at the Alamo City Shootout


Pippa Fikes added another Girls 11-14 Title to her resume this weekend with her come-from-behind! After finishing Round 1 in second place, she improved on her own score by nine strokes to take her to the victory. Her strong finish with a birdie on eighteen ensured her victory at Cedar Creek and also earned her a spot in the 2026 Texas Women's Open at Grapevine Golf Course at the end of May!

Missouri City, TX (August 29-30, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour summer season wrapped up last weekend with the Vortech Contracting H-Town Showdown at Quail Valley Golf Course! Our junior golfers battled through the Houston heat and completed 36 holes of competitive golf, showcasing their skills and drive in another successful event. New Braunfels, TX (August 15-16, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to New Braunfels, Texas, for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. With great weather throughout the event, the field had ideal conditions to showcase their skills and battle for the top spots. Players delivered strong performances from start to finish, with steady play and impressive moments shaping the leaderboard across both rounds. As the competition came down to the final holes, the talented field once again showcased the skill, determination and competitive spirit that define the Srixon Prestige Tour. Spring, TX - Summer may be winding down, but there is still plenty of golf ahead at the Southern Texas PGA! With opportunities to qualify for Team STPGA, championship events, Drive, Chip & Putt competition and more than 100 events remaining across STPGA Junior Golf programs, the fall season is set to be an exciting one. Qualify for the Bayou Cup The road to the Bayou Cup continues this fall as junior golfers compete for the opportunity to represent Team STPGA. Players still have opportunities to earn their spot and compete alongside some of the top junior golfers in Southern Texas. Below are the upcoming events where players can earn an exemption toward a spot on Team STPGA for this year’s Bayou Cup. Boys 15-18: - Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase (August 15-16, 2026) - Boys 15-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Boys 11-14: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Boys 11-14 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Girls 11-18: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Girls 11-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) The Bayou Cup is always a highlight on the STPGA Junior Golf calendar, giving players the opportunity to represent Southern Texas in a team competition and create memories both on and off the course.
