The STPGA Srixon Prestige Tour returned to the scenic fairways of Forest Creek Golf Club for The Round Rock Cup. A beloved stop on the Prestige Tour schedule, this event continues to draw enthusiastic players and families thanks to its welcoming atmosphere and championship-style setup. With towering trees, rolling terrain, and a course design that demands smart shot-making, Forest Creek provided the perfect stage for two exciting days of competition, sportsmanship, and memorable moments.
Cole Gailys Gets the Trophy at the Round Rock Cup
Cole Gailys delivered a stellar performance at Forest Creek Golf Club, firing back to back rounds of 4 under 68 to secure the Overall Boys 13–18 title. His opening round featured six birdies and two eagles, including an incredible run of six straight birdies on holes 2–7. He kept the momentum going in Round 2 with six more birdies and an eagle, highlighted by three in a row on holes 10–12 and a
3 under front nine. Gailys’ explosive scoring and consistency throughout the weekend powered him to the top of a strong field on a course known for its challenging layout and competitive atmosphere.
Rachel Turk Wins the Girls 13-18 Title at The Round Rock Cup
Rachel Turk showcased impressive poise in the final round at Forest Creek Golf Club, firing a strong performance highlighted by six birdies. She finished 2 under on the back nine and closed with a clutch run of 2 under over her final three holes, demonstrating both resilience and momentum when it mattered most. Turk’s confident play and ability to finish strong helped elevate her to the top of the leaderboard, securing an exceptional result on a challenging championship layout.
