Fredericksburg, TX (May 16-17, 2026) –   The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to Fredericksburg this past weekend for the 2026 Wildflower Classic, hosted at Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course! Even with tough weather conditions setting the stage, our junior golfers rose to the occasion against a competitive field and displayed their standout skills.

Marco Baima Claims Boys 15–18 Title at the Wildflower Classic


Marco Baima put together a steady and impressive performance to capture the title in the Boys 15–18 Division. After opening with a 68 to sit in second place after round one, Baima stayed consistent on day two, carding another 68 to climb to the top of the leaderboard and finish the tournament at 6-under par. His strong play throughout the weekend was highlighted by recording 31 pars, the most in his age division, showcasing his consistency from start to finish. His performance earned him the tournament title along with an exemption into the Hannon-Fields Junior Invitational on the Legends Junior Tour!

Rylen Darter Claims Girls 15-18 & Overall Title at the Wildflower Classic


Rylen Darter delivered a strong and consistent performance to claim both the Girls 15–18 Division title and Overall Champion honors. Darter opened the tournament with an impressive 72 to hold the lead after round one and remained steady on day two, carding another 72 to finish the weekend at 2-over par. Her final round was highlighted by four birdies, the most in her division, helping her secure the victory from start to finish. With her win, Darter also earned an exemption into the Hannon-Fields Junior Invitational on the Legends Junior Tour!

Gavin Martinez Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Wildflower Classic


Gavin Martinez added another Srixon Prestige Tour victory to his resume with a strong performance to win the Boys 11–14 Division title. Martinez opened the tournament with an impressive 69 to take the lead after round one and remained in control on day two, carding a 70 to finish the weekend at 3-under par. His steady play and ability to make birdies proved to be the difference, as he recorded nine birdies over the two rounds, the most in his division. Martinez continued to showcase why he is one of the top young players on the Srixon Prestige Tour with another impressive win under his belt.

Pippa Fikes Claims Girls 11-14 Title at the Wildflower Classic


Pippa Fikes continued her impressive season with another victory in the Girls 11–14 Division while also finishing second overall in the tournament. Fikes delivered a steady two-round performance, carding matching rounds of 75 to finish the weekend with consistency from start to finish. Over the two days, she recorded 26 pars, showcasing her composure and control throughout the competition. Another strong showing adds yet another title under Fikes’ belt on the Srixon Prestige Tour.

Houston, TX (May 14, 2026) - The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf program is excited to announce a new exemption for 2026. The winner of the Boys and Girls Division at the Insperity Tour Championship for the Srixon Prestige Tour will earn an exemption to play at The Greenwood Cup Junior Invitational hosted at River Oaks Country Club in Houston, TX. Over the past decade, The Greenwood Cup has welcomed many of the game's rising stars, including Blades Brown, Farah O'Keefe, Pierceson Coody and Rachel Heck, among many others. The tournament features a Boys and Girls Division, with a four-ball team format. Invited players have the opportunity to pick a partner of their choice. The Insperity Tour Championship winners will receive an invitation to this year's tournament on October 23-25, 2026. "We would like to thank the Tournament Committee at River Oaks, including Tournament Chairman, Stuart Wallace and Director of Golf, Matt Swarts, for offering this exemption," said Thomas Hutton, Executive Director of the STPGA. "This not only adds to the reasons why juniors should try to qualify for the PT Tour Championship on July 20-21 at Boot Ranch, but also highlights River Oaks' commitment to growing the game. This first-class tournament is an event the players will remember for many years." ROUND ROCK, TX (MAY 4, 2026) - The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program wrapped up the 2026 spring season over the weekend as champions were crowned across fifteen divisions at the STPGA Spring Championship. Hosted at the beautiful Forest Creek Golf Club, the event showcased the wide range of talent in the Little Linksters, Junior Links, and Junior Tour tours over two days of competitive golf. The STPGA Spring Championship continues to be a strong gateway to the rest of the junior golf season, offering top performers unique opportunities as the year ramps up. This year saw a new opportunity for one junior golfer. Through our partnership with the Good Good Championship, Bat Masterson Thibodeaux won four tickets to the final day of competition at the inaugural PGA TOUR event. It will be hosted at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa Fazio Canyons Golf Course in Austin from November 9-15.

Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - April April came in swinging at Pearland Golf Club, where the Spring Fling delivered a thrilling start to the month. Conrad Holzman of Houston, TX put on a dominant performance, cruising to a 5-shot victory and locking in his second Boys 11–14 title of the year. In the Boys 15–18 division, Andrew Bird of Nacogdoches, TX lit up the course with five birdies, capturing his first career Boys 15-18 win in style. Meanwhile, Roberta Alvarez of The Woodlands, TX staged an incredible comeback—firing a clutch Round 2 score of 71 to erase a 7-shot deficit and claim her first Overall Girls title of the year and third of her career. The momentum carried west as the Srixon Prestige Tour hit San Antonio for the Alamo City Shootout at Cedar Creek Golf Course. Gavin Martinez of San Antonio, TX stayed rock-solid with back-to-back rounds of 75 to earn his second Boys 11–14 victory of the season. Hayden Gold of Spring Branch, TX rose to the occasion in the Boys 15–18 division, delivering an even-par 72 in Round 2 to secure his first career win. On the girls’ side, Katherine O’Keefe of Houston, TX pulled off a stunning rally of her own, battling back from 7 shots down to capture her first Overall Girls title. The tour wrapped up April in Comfort at The Buckhorn Golf Course with fireworks at the Huntington Bank Lone Star Shootout . Aaron Aleman of San Antonio, TX went low and stayed low, firing impressive rounds of 68 and 69 to earn his first Boys 11–14 victory. Joshua McGown of Klein, TX made a huge leap up the leaderboard with a scorching second-round 65, claiming his first Boys 15–18 title. And Katherine O’Keefe of Houston, TX wasn’t done yet—she stayed red-hot, going back-to-back with her second consecutive Overall Girls victory, capping off an unforgettable April run. July Registration Get ready—July on the Srixon Prestige Tour is shaping up to be the biggest and most exciting stretch of the season, and it all starts with registration opening on Tuesday, May 5th at 9:00 AM.
