13th Texas Junior Cup Announcement!

Exemptions, event schedule, and host site announced today!


Spring, TX (February 28, 2024) – The STPGA is excited to announce the 13th Annual Texas Junior Cup Matches Presented by TCG Advisors will be back at Sand Hill Farm on September 20-22, 2024! This will be the fourth straight year this unique privately owned 9-hole facility hosts the matches. 


The Texas Junior Cup Matches presented by TCG Advisors is an annual competition between the Southern Texas and Northern Texas PGA Junior Tours' top six boys and top six girls aged 12 and under. The Ryder Cup-style format features 9-hole Scramble and Mixed Four-Ball Matches on the first day followed by 9-hole Singles Matches on the final day. The history of these matches includes players like Sam Bennett and Hailee Cooper and many others that have gone on to top junior careers and college careers. 


The STPGA won the Cup last year and has been able to retain the cup for six straight years and we hope to do it again this Fall!


The first chance to earn a spot on the STPGA Team is at the Little Linksters Spring Series Championship April 27-28 at the Clubs of Kingwood - Forest Course. The Boys 9-10 Champion, Boys 11-12 Champion, Girls 9-10 Champion, and Girls 11-12 Champion will all earn exemptions to join Team STPGA in September. The rest of the team will be finalized at the STPGA Junior Championship at the end of the summer.

Spring, TX (October 8, 2025) – Thank you so much for your continued support of one of the largest junior golf programs in the country. We are extremely grateful for your support throughout the year, and we continue to enjoy creating lifelong golfers. 2025 is a record year for the program with the largest number of members in our history (over 5,000), and we are on pace for the most rounds of golf played in the calendar year. From Little Linksters to the Srixon Prestige Tour and everything in between, we are proud of the growth in our program, but also know we can always improve and provide better experiences for everyone.
