PT Recap: Bay Forest Junior Championship

LA PORTE, TEXAS (October 7-8, 2023) - The Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour along with Bay Forest Golf Course held the Bay Forest Junior Championship this past weekend. The 36-hole tournament consisting of 97 players across both the girls and boys divisions came down to playoff holes to decide both of our champions. 

James Devore was victorious against Michael Perusse in two playoff holes for the boys divisions. After falling behind by six strokes after round 1, Devore had a big second day shooting 69 (-3) to come from behind to take home the win with a total score of 142 (-2). This is Devore’s first Prestige Tour win since joining in 2020.



Krysta Loftin out of Pearland, TX secured the win in the girls division after one playoff hole against Carolyn Liu. Loftin scored a 75 (+3) in round one to find herself two strokes off the lead going into round two. She made up for these strokes shooting a 73 (+1) en route to her first win, but seventh top 5 finish of the season.

Spring, TX (August 11-12) - With the closing of the 2025 PT Summer Season, STPGA Junior Golf hosted the Prestige Tour Open at Gleannloch Golf Club. As a surprise, the boys' champion would receive the last exemption into the 2025 Bayou Cup at Big Easy Ranch in December.
