Testimonials

“Mr. Hogan always enjoyed seeing young golfers play the game here at Shady Oaks Country Club and I know he would be a huge supporter of these Matches,” said Mike Wright, Director of Golf at Shady Oaks Country Club. “Our members and staff are excited to host the inaugural Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches at Shady Oaks Country Club and look forward to continuing this tradition many years to come.”

“This is such a unique experience for these top quality young golfers,” said Thomas Hutton Executive Director of the Southern Texas PGA. “These Matches give our better players something to shoot for during the summer and also opens their eyes to different styles of competition while preparing them for college golf.”

Northern Texas PGA Executive Director / CEO, Mark Harrison stated, “Our partners at the Legends Junior Tour have the Jackie Burke Cup Matches that are a must-play in for the best kids in the state. We hope to emulate the same comradery, sportsmanship and competition for kids that play on the All American and Prestige Tours with the Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches. We could not ask for a more committed and dedicated host facility for the matches and I’m excited for what is in store for the kids who are fortunate to make the team this inaugural year. It’s going to be incredibly special.”
