FAIR OAKS RANCH, TX (November 20-21, 2023) - The Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour along with PGA Tour Superstore held the PGA Tour Superstore Gobble Classic this past Monday and Tuesday leading into the Thanksgiving weekend. Day 1 featured a foggy morning but beautiful afternoon before a cold and windy second round to close out the event.
Cole Macmillan took home the win for the Overall Boys 13-18 Division ending up at three-under for the tournament. The senior out of Round Rock shot a 67 (-5) in the first round giving him a significant five stroke lead going into round two. The cold temperatures and wind made day two difficult as Macmillan shot two-over, but was able to hang on for his first Prestige Tour victory of the season.
Bowen Lan out of Austin, TX was the champion out of the Overall Girls 13-18 Division. Lan was sitting four strokes back in second place going into day two, but was able to battle back throughout the second day. She got her day started with a birdie on #1 and never looked back en route to shooting even par and the overall girls division win. This is her second win on the Prestige Tour this season.
