The Southern Texas PGA is closely monitoring all available information around the Coronavirus. The health and safety of all members of the STPGA community continues to be our top priority.
At this time, we would like to communicate to all that all events and tournaments will continue as planned.
The STPGA is communicating with the PGA of America and local officials on this matter and remains committed to the safety of all individuals. If you do not feel comfortable playing in one of our tournaments and already signed up, please feel free to contact the STPGA directly and you will receive a full tournament refund. Taking effect immediately, we will be altering our cancelation policy that if someone would like to withdraw from an event due to this health concern, we will issue full refunds through May 1, 2020. Players must notify the STPGA prior to the event happening.
We ask that all individuals follow local and regional advice when it comes to the virus around washing your hands, staying home if you are sick, and seeking medical help if needed. Additionally, please be considerate to others if you have traveled within the last 30 days to parts of the world that have large outbreaks of the virus.
Lastly, it will be up to each individual during STPGA events to decide if they want to shake hands with competitors and staff due to this virus.
Please let us know if you have any questions and we will update our community if anything changes in a timely manner.
Thank you for supporting the STPGA.
