COVID-19 Updates for STPGA Junior Golf

The STPGA will continue to communicate updates as they relate to our Junior Golf program and upcoming events. Our top priority is always the well-being of our Junior Golfers, Members, and staff.
All STPGA Junior Golf Events Postponed Through May 4th
Following the nation-wide Social Distancing guidelines that have been extended, the STPGA has made the decision to postpone or cancel all Junior Golf events through Monday, May 4, 2020. This includes:
- Prestige Tour San Antonio Open: Originally scheduled for April 18-19, this event has been rescheduled for May 9-10
- STPGA Spring Series Championship : Originally scheduled for April 25-26, this event has unfortunately been canceled
- Accent Compliance Prestige Tour Open : Originally scheduled for May 2-3 has been canceled
- Little Linksters, Junior Links, Junior Tour, and Parent-Junior Events: Players registered for any of these events during this time will receive a direct email informing of postponement or cancelation by the end of this week. In either situation, players are entitled to a full refund back to their original payment method.
Additional Updates Coming April 14
The STPGA staff is hard at work monitoring the current situation and working to reschedule as many events as possible while keeping the safety of all in mind. Further updates regarding STPGA Junior Golf will be announced by Tuesday, April 14th. These updates will include:
- A date announcement for the opening of Summer Series registration
- A new May schedule
- New qualification criteria for the 2020 Texas Junior Cup Matches
- Updates on the Facility Discount Program
- Shipping updates for 2020 Membership Boxes
- New Tournament Safety Procedures
The Southern Texas PGA understands that this is a difficult time for everyone. We want to get back to tournaments and building lifelong golfers as soon as possible, but we must ensure the safety of all participants. We encourage you to follow us on social media, practice putting in your house (with your parent's permission of course!), and follow Social Distancing measures.
