Organization is eager to help the STPGA continue to impact lives through golf!

Spring, TX (January 10, 2024) – The STPGA Junior Golf program is excited to announce a new patron partnership with First Community. First Community’s mission is focused on unity, support, and giving back to the Houston community. The STPGA is very appreciative of their support of the next generation of golfers.

“The STPGA is not able to offer the programs and tournaments we run without support from organizations like First Community,” said Thomas Hutton, Executive Director. “We pride ourselves on creating lifelong golfers and a major focus is keeping costs low to our customers. Thanks to partners like First Community, we are able to accomplish this.

First Community will be referred to as a Patron Partner of the STPGA Junior Golf program and will be showcased throughout the largest junior golf program in the country. One unique element of this partnership is the creation of the First Community Scholarship that will be awarded through the PGA REACH Southern Texas Scholarship Program.

“Education has always been a big part of our community involvement,” said TJ Tijerina, President and CEO. “Golf not only teaches so many life lessons and values, but the way PGA REACH Southern Texas also supports education was a perfect opportunity for our brands to align.”

We look forward to showcasing First Community throughout the year and appreciate their support of the largest junior golf program in the country.
