SPRING, TX (September 21, 2022) - The Southern Texas PGA is excited to announce its continued partnership with the Insperity Invitational presented by UnitedHealthcare and the Junior Pro-Am. On Tuesday, April 25, 2023 - 36 STPGA junior golfers will enjoy the experience of a lifetime playing 9-holes with a PGA TOUR champions professional.

2023 will mark the 15th time STPGA Junior Golfers will earn an exemption into this great event through the 2022 PGA TOUR Superstore STPGA Fall Championship. The event provides the opportunity for STPGA Junior Golfers to play The Woodlands CC - Tournament Course the same week that the PGA TOUR Champions play it.

“We are excited to have this continued partnership with Insperity Invitational that provides such a great playing opportunity for our junior golfers,” said STPGA Executive Director, Thomas Hutton. “With the return of the event last year, our juniors are ecstatic to earn a spot during our last Championship of the year.”

“The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program continues to provide high quality events for juniors of all ages and we are happy to support the program,” said Jane Wandmacher, Tournament Director for the Insperity Invitational. “The Junior Pro-Am is not only a fun day for the juniors, but also the PGA TOUR Champions.”

Exemptions into the Junior Pro-Am will be given out at the Fall Championship by division during both the Junior Tour at Texas A&M Golf Club and the Little Linksters at Brenham Country Club December 10-11, 2022.
