PT Recap: Lake Conroe Challenge

Montgomery, TX (March 11-12, 2024) - This past Monday and Tuesday the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour hosted the Lake Conroe Challenge at the Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club in Montgomery, Texas. It was a great event to kick off spring break and ended in fashion with both divisions going into playoffs.

Cole Pregler of Fulshear, TX secured his first Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour win in his first start of the year. he finished the first day three strokes shy of the lead after shooting a (+1) 73. he played steady in the final round, shooting a (+4) 76, leading him into a four man playoff. After three playoff holes, Pregler sunk a birdie putt that secured him the win! Not only did he earn his first Prestige Tour title, but he also earned exemptions into the 2024 Bluebonnet Championship and 2024 Veritex Byron Nelson Junior Championship.

Carolyn Liu of Katy, TX earned her first Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour win in the Girls 13-18 division and her third Prestige Tour win of the year overall. She came out of round one four shots back of the lead after shooting a (+6) 78. she fought back in the final round shooting a an impressive (-2) 70, leading her to victory! This win earned her an exemption into the 2024 Bluebonnet Championship.

FIRST STPGA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE YEAR IS IN THE BOOKS!

KINGWOOD, TX (APRIL 27-28, 2024) - Eleven Champions were named at the 2024 Spring Championship at The Clubs of Kingwood (Forest Course). Champions were crowned from Junior Tour and Little Linksters. In addition to crowning our spring season champions, an incredible opportunity to qualify for the 13th Annual Texas Junior Cup team was also on the line this weekend for the Little Linksters.

The competition was close as they battled through the tough weather conditions, both champions rose above the rest to clinch their first-time Prestige Tour wins.
