Houston, TX (February 21-22, 2026) –   The Srixon Prestige Tour continued this past weekend with the 2026 Winter Showdown, held February 21–22 at Panorama Golf Club. Junior golfers took on the course for two competitive days of tournament play, showcasing determination and strong performances throughout the field.

Hudson Burell Claims Another Boys 15–18 Title at the Winter Showdown

Hudson Burrell claimed another Srixon Prestige Tour victory this weekend, continuing his strong run of play. He opened with a 73 to sit tied for first after Round 1 and followed it up with a 76 on Day 2 to pull away and secure the win. Finishing with a 149 overall (+5), Hudson’s steady, composed performance across both rounds once again proved to be the difference in a competitive field.

Esther Li Claims Girls 15-18 & Overall Title at the Winter Showdown


Esther Li delivered an impressive performance at the Winter Showdown, capturing both the Girls 15–18 Division title and the Overall Girls championship. She set the tone early with a strong opening round of 72 to hold the lead after Day 1, then followed it up with a 74 in Round 2 to secure the victory with a 146 total (+2). Esther also led the girls division with five birdies across the two days and recorded an impressive 29 pars overall, showcasing the consistency and composure that set her apart from the field.

Beckett McLaughlin Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Winter Showdown


Beckett McLaughlin earned the Boys 11–14 Division title at the Winter Showdown with a strong and steady performance, finishing at 147 (+3) overall. He held the lead after Day 1 and carried that momentum into the final round to secure the victory. Beckett’s consistency was key, as he recorded a division-high 31 pars over the two days, proving that smart, steady golf made the difference in sealing the win.

Sara Garcia Claims Girls 11-14 Title at the Winter Showdown


Sara Garcia battled her way to the top to win the Girls 11–14 Division at the Winter Showdown. After opening with an 84 to sit in second place following Day 1, she stayed determined and climbed the leaderboard with an 83 in the final round to secure the victory with a 167 (+23) overall. Sara’s steady play made the difference, as she led her division with 22 pars across the two days to earn the win.

New Braunfels, TX (August 15-16, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to New Braunfels, Texas, for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. With great weather throughout the event, the field had ideal conditions to showcase their skills and battle for the top spots. Players delivered strong performances from start to finish, with steady play and impressive moments shaping the leaderboard across both rounds. As the competition came down to the final holes, the talented field once again showcased the skill, determination and competitive spirit that define the Srixon Prestige Tour. Spring, TX - Summer may be winding down, but there is still plenty of golf ahead at the Southern Texas PGA! With opportunities to qualify for Team STPGA, championship events, Drive, Chip & Putt competition and more than 100 events remaining across STPGA Junior Golf programs, the fall season is set to be an exciting one. Qualify for the Bayou Cup The road to the Bayou Cup continues this fall as junior golfers compete for the opportunity to represent Team STPGA. Players still have opportunities to earn their spot and compete alongside some of the top junior golfers in Southern Texas. Below are the upcoming events where players can earn an exemption toward a spot on Team STPGA for this year’s Bayou Cup. Boys 15-18: - Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase (August 15-16, 2026) - Boys 15-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Boys 11-14: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Boys 11-14 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Girls 11-18: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Girls 11-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) The Bayou Cup is always a highlight on the STPGA Junior Golf calendar, giving players the opportunity to represent Southern Texas in a team competition and create memories both on and off the course. Cypress, TX (August 10-11, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour stayed in Houston for the STPGA Challenge at BlackHorse Golf Club, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. Round one brought challenging conditions and rain delays, but the field remained focused and made the most of every opportunity once play resumed. Despite the interruptions, players delivered strong performances throughout the opening round before returning for day two ready to finish strong. From steady play to clutch moments down the stretch, the talented field once again showcased the resilience and determination that define the Srixon Prestige Tour.
