Top Srixon Prestige Tour junior golfers will compete for the title.

FREDERICKSBURG, TX (FEBRUARY 19, 2026) - The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program is thrilled to announce the return of the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship for the third season. The event, held this season on July 20-21, serves as the tour championship for the Srixon Prestige Tour season and consists of top junior golfers in our program.

The Insperity Invitational Tour Championship will be hosted for the first time at picturesque Boot Ranch. Ranked in the Top 20 of GolfDigest Best Courses in Every State, the 18-hole, Hal Sutton designed championship course provides a unique opportunity for STPGA junior golfers to compete at a top-ranked Texas facility. This will be Boot Ranch's first time hosting a top-level junior golf event following its success in hosting STPGA Professional events like the Joe Black Cup and Section Championship and state Amateur events like the historic Texas State Amateur.

The tournament will be made up of a strong field of 90 Srixon Prestige Tour golfers from the season. The following players have already earned their spot into the event:

  • Champions of all 2025 Srixon Prestige Tour events in the Boys 13-18 and Girls 13-18 Divisions, starting with the STPGA Challenge on July 31 - August 1 through the end of 2025.
  • Champions of all 2026 Srixon Prestige Tour events in the Boys 15-18 and Girls 11-18 Divisions, starting with the Prestige Tour Premiere on January 17-18 through the Battle in the Big City on February 14-15.
  • Top two players on the 2025 Insperity Invitational Boys 13-18 and Girls 13-18 points list who had not already earned an invitation by the end of December 2025.

The following players will earn an invitation to the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship provided they have not already earned an invite:

  • Champions of all 2026 Srixon Prestige Tour events in the Boys 15-18 and Girls 11-18 Divisions, starting with the Winter Showdown on February 21-22 through the Summer Showdown on June 22-23.
  • The Boys 15-18 and Girls 15-18 Champions from the 2026 Junior Tour Spring Championship on May 2-3.
  • Four golfers from the new “Last Chance” Qualifier opportunities held at two Srixon Prestige Tour events on July 13-14. More information on these qualifiers will be available on March 24.

Titles are not the only thing STPGA golfers will be competing for at the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship. The Boys and Girls Champions will earn exemptions to the 2026 Bayou Cup Matches for the second straight year and will get full exempt status into the Legends Junior Tour, beginning September 1 and ending August 1, 2027 provided they are Class of 2027 or later.

The STPGA is grateful to Boot Ranch, Srixon, and the Insperity Invitational for providing this opportunity once again for our junior golfers and looks forward to the return of such a great event.
