PT Recap: Bluebonnet Classic

Kingsland, TX (June 8-9, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to Kingsland, Texas, for the Bluebonnet Classic, held at Legends Golf Course. Over two days of competition, players from across Southern Texas put their skills to the test across 36 holes, competing for division titles, valuable points, and championship exemptions. The event showcased some of the region's top junior talent and provided another exciting stop on the Prestige Tour schedule as golfers continued their pursuit of success throughout the 2026 season.


In addition to the division champions earning exemptions, two more players secured valuable opportunities through their performances at the Bluebonnet Classic. Jackson Tennant earned exemptions into the Hannon-Fields Junior Invitational and Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches, while Caleb Patrick claimed an exemption into the 2026 Insperity Tour Championship. Both players put together strong performances over the two-day event and will have the chance to compete on some of junior golf's biggest stages later this year.

Pippa Fikes Claims Overall Title at the Bluebonnet Classic


Pippa Fikes continued her remarkable 2026 season at the Bluebonnet Classic, capturing both the Girls 11-14 Division title and Overall Championship. The victory marks her 11th win in the Girls 11-14 Division this year and her second overall championship of the season. Fikes opened the tournament with a stellar even-par 72 to take the first-round lead and followed it up with a 76 on day two to secure the title. Throughout the 36-hole event, she recorded 29 pars, the most in the girls division, showcasing her consistency from start to finish. With the win, Fikes also earned an exemption into the Hannon-Fields Junior Invitational and the Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches.

Marco Baima Claims Boys 15-18 Title at the Bluebonnet Classic


Marco Baima captured his third Boys 15-18 Division title of the season at the Bluebonnet Classic, earning full exempt status on the Legends Junior Tour with the victory. Baima got off to a blazing start, firing a 66 in the opening round to take the lead, then followed it up with a 74 on day two to secure the championship. His consistent play throughout the tournament was highlighted by an impressive 32 pars over the two rounds, helping him maintain his position atop a talented field and continue his strong 2026 campaign.

Alessandra Dimas Claims Girls 15-18 Title at the Bluebonnet Classic


Alessandra Dimas claimed the Girls 15-18 Division title at the Bluebonnet Classic with an impressive comeback over the tournament's final round. After opening with a 79 and sitting in second place after day one, Dimas bounced back with a strong 74 in the final round to surge into the lead and secure the victory. Her resilience and steady play throughout the event earned her the championship, as well as an exemption into the 2026 Insperity Tour Championship.

Andrew Moreno II Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Bluebonnet Classic


Andrew Moreno II continued his strong season on the Srixon Prestige Tour, capturing his second Boys 11-14 Division title of the year at the Bluebonnet Classic. Moreno put together two impressive rounds, opening with a 71 before following it up with a 72 to secure the victory. His consistency was on full display throughout the tournament, recording 32 pars over the two days. With another Prestige Tour title under his belt, Moreno continues to establish himself as one of the top players in his division this season.

Victoria, TX (October 17-18, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour headed to Victoria Country Club this weekend for the 2026 Discover Victoria South Texas Showcase! Players faced challenging conditions during the opening round, with chilly temperatures and high winds testing their skills on the course. Despite a tough start to the weekend, the weather turned around beautifully for the final round, providing perfect conditions as players battled for the top spots on the leaderboard. After two exciting days of competition, four new Srixon Prestige Tour Champions were crowned! STPGA Junior Golfers Will Return to The Insperity Junior Pro-Am for the 21st Year!

SPRING, TX (October 15, 2026) - For the 21st year, the Southern Texas PGA and The Insperity presented by UnitedHealthcare are partnering up in a commitment to grow the game in South Texas. 36 STPGA Junior Golfers will have the unique opportunity to play 9 holes of golf with a PGA Tour Champions professional on a tournament-level course. The 2027 event will take place on Tuesday, April 27 before The Insperity tournament at The Woodlands Country Club – Tournament Course.

PT Recap: Bay Forest Junior Championship

La Porte, TX (October 3-4, 2026) – The Bay Forest Junior Championship continued its 37-year tradition of junior golf at Bay Forest Golf Course this past weekend! Players battled through two rounds, and even with a little rain on Day 2, the players persevered through the conditions. Congratulations to all of our division champions! Adding to the history of this event, the Boys 15–18 and Girls 11–18 overall champions will have their names etched onto the Kiibler Cup forever, becoming part of the tournament’s legacy for years to come. A big thank you to Bay Forest Golf Course, our players, parents, and everyone who helped make this longtime tradition such a great weekend!

Srixon Prestige Tour Remarks - October 2026

Good Evening Players, Parents, & Family Friends, September kicked off an exciting start to Fall on the Srixon Prestige Tour. Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - September September kicked off the Fall with exciting weekend events, starting in San Antonio as the Srixon Prestige Tour visited the historic Brackenridge Park Golf Course for the Cavender Buick GMC North Brackenridge Park Classic , and scores did not disappoint. Gavin Swearengin of San Antonio, TX, started off strong and did not look back. Swearengin topped it off with a 7-under 28 on the back nine in Round 2 to finish 15-under par and claim his first Boys 15-18 win of the year. In the Overall Girls Division, Jessie Lee of San Antonio, TX, claimed her third win of the year after impressive rounds of 5-under and 3-under to secure a 5-shot victory, adding another impressive finish to an outstanding year. Cort Cage of Montgomery, TX, battled his way to his first career win in the Boys 11-14. Cage fired a 4-under 31 on the back nine in Round 2, but no birdie was more important than his birdie putt on the 18th hole, which gave him a 1-shot edge and crowned him a champion. The following week, the Srixon Prestige Tour headed west of San Antonio for The Cowboy Cup at Flying L Ranch Golf Course, where players continued to go low. Braxton Simpson of Kerrville, TX, captured his first career Boys 15-18 title. Simpson had consistent rounds, firing a 4-under 68 in Round 1, and kept that momentum going, leading him to a comfortable three-shot victory. For our Overall Girls Division, Pippa Fikes of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX, led the way with two impressive under-par rounds and 4 birdies on the last 6 holes in Round 2. This marked Fikes’ 4th overall win of her impressive season. Luke Willis of Horseshoe Bay, TX, outlasted the rest of the field in a close battle to secure his first career Boys 11-14 title. Willis’ round of 78 in Round 2 led him to a 1-shot victory. The last event of September, the Srixon Prestige Tour headed over to Georgetown, TX, for the Antigua Sun City Showdown at White Wing Golf Club. Knox Frazier of Austin, TX, claimed his first career Boys 15-18 win after firing a 2-under 70 in Round 2 and battling it out with 4 other juniors who fell just 1 shot short of Frazier. We had a close battle in the Overall Girls Division as Natalie Vuu of Houston, TX, claimed her second win of the season. Vuu’s birdie on Hole 17 in Round 2 gave her a 1-shot lead after she put together two consistent rounds. Dawson Dial of Cedar Park, TX, claimed his second Boys 11-14 win of the year. Dial had the low round of the day, firing a 3-under 69 in Round 2. Events with Open Spots Available The following events are open for registration.
