San Antonio, TX (June 15-16, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour made its way to San Antonio this week for the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2 at The Quarry Golf Course. While rain pushed back the start of competition on day one, players remained patient and ready to compete. Once play got underway, the field showcased impressive performances throughout the championship. Day two brought beautiful weather and ideal scoring conditions, setting the stage for a strong finish as players battled for titles and valuable points in one of the premier events of the summer season.

Elliot Cope Claims Boys 15-18 Title at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2
Elliot Cope delivered a dominant performance at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2, capturing the Boys 15-18 Division title in impressive fashion. Cope wasted no time taking control of the tournament, firing a remarkable 8-under 63 in the opening round, coming just one stroke shy of matching The Quarry Golf Course course record. He followed it up with another outstanding round of 67 on day two to finish at 12-under par for the championship. Remaining in first place from start to finish, Cope secured the victory by seven strokes over the field. His aggressive play was on full display throughout the tournament as he recorded an incredible 15 birdies across the 36-hole event, cementing one of the most impressive performances of the season. With the win, Cope earned exemptions into the 2026 Junior PGA Championship, the Hannon-Fields Junior Invitational on the Legends Junior Tour, and the Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches. He also secured an invitation to the Insperity Tour Championship later this summer.
Jessie Lee Claims Girls Overall Title at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2
Jessie Lee continued her impressive stretch of play this summer, capturing both the Girls 15-18 Division title and Overall Girls Championship at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2. After opening the tournament with an even-par 71 and sitting in second place after the first round, Lee relied on her steady play to climb the leaderboard on day two. She matched her opening-round score with another even-par 71 to finish even par for the championship and secure the victory. The win comes just one week after Lee claimed the Girls Junior PGA Championship #1 title, where she had already earned her exemption into the 2026 Junior PGA Championship. Her back-to-back victories showcase the consistency and confidence she has carried throughout the summer season, as she added another major title to her impressive summer résumé.
Jordan Thomas Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2
Jordan Thomas captured the Boys 11-14 Division title after an exciting finish at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2. Thomas opened the tournament with an even-par 72, putting him in second place heading into the final round. He responded with a strong 3-under 69 on day two, finishing at 1-under par for the championship and climbing into a tie for the lead. With the title on the line, Thomas stayed composed in a playoff and ultimately secured the victory. A member of the STPGA's Bayou Cup Team last year, Thomas once again showcased his competitive mindset and ability to perform under pressure when it mattered most.
Rachel Turk Claims Girls 15-18 Title at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2
Rachel Turk made a successful return to the Srixon Prestige Tour, capturing the Girls 15-18 Division title at the Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship #2. After opening the tournament with a 1-over 72 and sitting in second place after round one, Turk battled her way to the top of the leaderboard with a 74 in the final round. She finished the championship at 4-over par, securing the victory and adding another impressive accomplishment to her standout 2026 season. Earlier this year, Turk earned a runner-up finish at the Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals at Augusta National, and it was great to see her back competing on the Prestige Tour. With the win, she also earned an exemption into the 2026 Junior PGA Championship.
