Lost Pines, TX (June 24-25, 2024) - This week the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour hosted the Antigua Bluebonnet Classic at Lost Pines Golf Club. Both players were able to play consistent golf in both rounds which ultimately brought them to victory.
Ben Montreuil from Round Rock, TX was able to secure his first ever Prestige Tour win. He started out strong on the first day by shooting a (-3) 69 with an impressive total of 6 birdies. Day two he was able to stay under-par by shooting a score of (-1) 71. These scores brought him to victory with an impressive overall score of (-4) 140. This win earned him a spot into the 2024 Texas Junior Amateur, the 2024 George Hannon Invitational, and the 2024 Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches!
Madeline Buckley from Magnolia, TX also earned her first Prestige Tour win of the 2024 season! After shooting (+6) 78 during round one she was able to bounce back in round 2 and play excellent golf by shooting a (-1) 71 with two birdies. With these score she was able to secure the win with an overall score of (+5) 149. This victory earned her a spot into the 2024 Texas Junior Amateur, the 2024 George Hannon Invitational, and the 2024 Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches!
