Lost Pines, TX (July 6-7, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour headed to Austin this week for the Battle on the River bend at Lost Pines Golf Club. Players embraced the challenge of the Texas summer heat, battling high temperatures throughout two days of competition. Despite the demanding conditions, the field delivered impressive performances and competitive golf from start to finish.

Pippa Fikes Claims Her Third Girls Overall Title at the Battle of the River Bend
Pippa Fikes added another impressive victory to her growing list of accomplishments, capturing her third Girls Overall title and earning full exempt status onto the Legends Junior Tour. No stranger to winning on the Srixon Prestige Tour, Fikes entered the final round in first place after opening with a 74. She held onto the lead with an impressive 2-under 70 in the final round to finish the championship at even par. Fikes carded nine birdies over the two days on her way to securing another standout victory. With the win, she also earned an exemption into the 2026 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational.
Townes Brower Claims Boys 15-18 Title at the Battle of the River Bend
Townes Brower secured his first Prestige Tour victory after two days of consistent play and a tightly contested battle in the Boys 15-18 Division. Brower opened the championship with a 73, placing him in second heading into the final round. He followed with a steady 72 on day two to rise to the top of the leaderboard and claim the title and he recorded 25 pars over the two days. With the victory, he also earned exemptions into the 2026 Hannon-Fields Junior Invitational, the 2026 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational, and the Texas State Open.
Vallerie Struve Claims Girls 15-18 Title at the Battle of the River Bend
Vallerie Struve captured her first Srixon Prestige Tour victory in the Girls 15-18 Division after leading the field from start to finish. Struve opened the championship with an 80 to take the lead heading into the final round before following it up with a strong 73 on day two to secure the title. Her steady play throughout the two-day championship earned her a memorable first victory in the division and a spot atop the leaderboard.
Dawson Dial Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Battle on the River Bend
Dawson Dial continued his impressive season by adding a Prestige Tour victory to his growing list of accomplishments. After already capturing seven Junior Tour titles this year, including the Spring Championship, Dial took his success to the Prestige Tour and led the Boys 11-14 Division from start to finish. He opened the championship with an impressive 69 to take the lead before closing with a 76 on day two to secure the title and another standout victory this season.
