Blanco, TX (June 24-25, 2024) - This week the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour hosted the Boys Southern Texas Junior PGA Championship at Vaaler Creek Golf Club. This course challenged many of our players, but these champions were able to push through to victory!
Michael Vienneau from Austin, TX was able to secure his first-ever Prestige Tour win at this tournament. He started out strong the first day by shooting (-1) 71 with a notable eagle on hole 8. Day two he was able to come out on top with a bogey-free round that came out to (-2) 70. These scores brought him to an overall score of (-3) 141. This win exempted him into 2024 Texas Junior Amateur, the 2024 George Hannon Invitational, and the 2024 Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches!
Dylan Knox from Austin, TX also earned his first Prestige Tour win to add to his resume! His first day he played consistent golf by shooting a (+3) 75 out on this tough course. Then day two he climbed his way back up the leaderboard by finishing with a (-1) 71. His overall score came out to a (+2) 146 to secure this win!
