Georgetown, TX (September 28-29, 2024) - This past weekend the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour hosted the EmmyEvan Sun City Showdown at Legacy Hills Golf Club. Both players claimed the title with impressive performances over two challenging rounds of golf!
Kanak Yadav from Austin, TX, claimed her first Prestige Tour victory at the EmmyEvan Sun City Showdown. She posted a (+4) 76 in the first round but bounced back with a strong (-2) 70 in the second round, finishing with a total of 146 strokes. Kanak recorded four birdies over the two rounds to secure the win and an exemption to compete in the 2024 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational.
Isaac Wheeler from Kyle, TX, earned his first Prestige Tour win with a total score of (-1) at the EmmyEvan Sun City Showdown. He shot a (+2) 74 in the first round and followed it up with an impressive (-3) 69 in the second round, bringing his total to 143 strokes. Isaac recorded six birdies throughout the tournament, securing the victory and an exemption to compete in the 2024 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational.
