HOUSTON, TX (November 4-5, 2023) - The Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour hosted the 2023 Omega Transactions Houston Cup at Houston National Golf Club this past weekend. Some low scores were posted throughout the 36 hole event making for an exciting final round to decide our champions.

Daniel Rice secured his first ever Prestige Tour victory shooting 64 (-8) on the final day to catapult himself to the top of the leaderboard. Rice, a Sophomore out of Magnolia, TX, entered day two seven strokes back, but posted eight birdies and one eagle on Sunday to complete the comeback winning by a two strokes. After shooting 76 (+4) on Saturday, Rice ended -4 route to his first win on the tour.

Peyton DeBruin, a Junior out of Houston, TX, secured the win in the girls division after dominating the field wire to wire. DeBruin out shot the rest of the field by five strokes, after shooting 69-72, for a total of 141 (-3). This is DeBruin’s second win of the season on the Prestige Tour, her last coming at the end of August in the Classic Chevy H-Town Showdown.
