PT Recap: Shootout in the Hills

BLANCO, TEXAS (March 4 -5, 2023) - This weekend, we held the Shootout in the Hills at Vaaler Creek Golf Club. With 97 of our Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour golfers participating, it all came down to the final stroke. 


In the Overall Girls Division, Lindsay Lee of San Antonio, finished Round One with a (-1) 70 to plant herself as the leader going into Round Two. Lindsay had an impressive first round with seven birdies, three of which were consecutive. Using her lead and drive to beat her sister, Michelle Lee who was in second place going into round two, Lindsay gave it her all in her final round. Finishing with only a one-stroke difference between her and her sister, Lindsay brought home the win with a tournament total of (+1) 145. This was Lindsay’s fifth Prestige Tour win since becoming a member of the STPGA in 2015.



In the Overall Boys Division, Jaxon Donaldson of Wimberley overcame a three-stroke deficit to bring home the win. Finishing day one with a (-2) 70 including seven birdies and an eagle, Jaxon was in second place heading into the final round. As the leaderboard fluctuated multiple times on day two, Jaxon remained focused and ended the tournament with a win. “I didn’t have my best stuff today but to be able to grind it out and come out with a win feels awesome”, states Jaxon on his win at the Shootout in the Hills. This was his second ever win within the Prestige Tour and 23rd win overall in the STPGA Junior Golf program.

Cypress, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour continued its spring season with the Rocket City Open, held March 16–17, as junior golfers took on a competitive field in another exciting Monday–Tuesday event. Battling through challenging conditions, players faced strong winds and cold temperatures that tested their resilience and shot-making across both rounds. Despite the harsh weather, the event showcased incredible determination and high-level play from start to finish. PT Recap: Hill Country Open

San Antonio, TX (March 7-8, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to San Antonio this past weekend for the Hill Country Open , held March 7–8 at the Hill Country Golf Club. Despite rainy and challenging weather conditions, junior golfers showed great determination during the tournament. Due to the weather, the event was only able to complete the first round, but players still delivered a strong day of competitive golf, making it another memorable stop on the 2026 Srixon Prestige Tour. Congratulations to Lia Beyer, and our Boys 15-18 Champion, Diego Amour for earning an invite to the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship , hosted at Boot Ranch on July 20–21, 2026!
