McAllen, TX (May 4-5, 2024) - This past weekend the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour hosted The Rio Grande Showcase at McAllen Country Club! This weekend both of our champions earned their first win in the 2024 season!
Kyle Doolittle located in New Braunfels, TX earned his first 2024 Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour victory this weekend! During round one, Doolittle had three birdies, finishing the round tied for fifth scoring (+2) 73. He came back in round two finishing atop the leaderboard with one eagle and four birdies, ending the tournament with an overall score of (E) 142. With his win, Doolittle secured a spot at The Texas Junior Amateur and The Veritex Bank Bryon Nelson Junior Champ!
Carmen Pate of League City, TX secured her first 2024 Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour win this weekend. She finished out round one with two birdies, shooting a (+1) 75 to put her at the top of the leaderboard. Pate kept the same momentum through round two and finished strong, shooting a (+3) 77 with an overall score of (+10) 152. Her victory earned her a spot to play in the Texas Junior Amateur!
