HOUSTON, TX (April 13-14, 2024) - This past weekend the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour and Veritex Bank hosted the Veritex Bank Lone Star Shoot Out at Hearthstone Country Club! Congratulations to the first time boys and girls champions!
Carson Elder from Houston, TX earned his first Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour win this weekend! Elder ended round one tied for 15th shooting a (+4) 74. He came back for day two stronger with five birdies sending him into a playoff against three other competitors. Elder birdied the first playoff round securing his championship title. He ended the weekend with a total score of (+1) 141. With his win, he earned exemptions into the Texas Junior Amateur and the Veritex Bank Bryon Nelson Junior Championship.
Natalie Nobles of Navasota, TX secured her first Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour victory this weekend. After round one, she finished tied for second shooting (+4) 74. She kept the momentum through round two, and entered a playoff round to claim her title. Overall, she finished this weekend with a score of (+6) 146. This win earned Nobles a spot in the 2024 Texas Junior Amateur.
