Summer may be over, but tournament season is just heating up!


Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - August

The Srixon Prestige Tour team kicked off the month of August in Houston at BlackHorse Golf Club (North) for the STPGA Challenge. Carson Klein of Tomball, TX secured his first Srixon Prestige Tour victory with a commanding performance, maintaining a six-shot lead on the back nine. In the Girls Division, Lora Kim of Katy, TX fired an impressive final-round 69 to capture her first Overall Srixon Prestige Tour title. 


The Tour remained in Houston for the Prestige Tour Open at Gleannloch Pines Golf Club, where London Fowlkes of Houston, TX earned her third win of the season. On the boys' side, Luke Janik, also of Houston, TX, claimed his first career Srixon Prestige Tour title with consecutive rounds of 68. 


Next, the Tour traveled to New Braunfels for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course. William Mangione of Austin, TX recorded back-to-back rounds of 69 to earn his third win of the season. Addison Braden of San Antonio, TX delivered a standout performance, highlighted by an eagle on Hole #13, en route to her first career Srixon Prestige Tour victory. 


August concluded with a return to BlackHorse Golf Club (North) for the H-Town Showdown. Muci Guo of Bellaire, TX and Cody Borden of The Woodlands, TX each captured their second win in the 13-14 age division, as well as their first Overall Srixon Prestige Tour titles of the year.


2025 Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches - TeamSTPGA

Team STPGA emerged victorious at the 10th Annual Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches, held earlier this month at the prestigious Shady Oaks Country Club. Representing the Southern Texas PGA, 12 standout junior golfers competed in two days of match play competition against the Northern Texas PGA team. Team STPGA set the tone early, dominating Day 1 with a commanding performance. They secured victories in both the four-ball and foursome formats by a margin of 4.5 to 1.5 in each session, establishing a strong 9–3 lead heading into the final day. Despite a strong comeback effort from Team NTPGA—who won the singles matches 7–5—Team STPGA’s early lead proved insurmountable. With a final score of 14–10, Team STPGA captured the Ben Hogan Junior Cup title.


Congratulations to Captain Savannah Dupre and all 12 members of Team STPGA on this outstanding achievement.

New Braunfels, TX (August 15-16, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to New Braunfels, Texas, for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. With great weather throughout the event, the field had ideal conditions to showcase their skills and battle for the top spots. Players delivered strong performances from start to finish, with steady play and impressive moments shaping the leaderboard across both rounds. As the competition came down to the final holes, the talented field once again showcased the skill, determination and competitive spirit that define the Srixon Prestige Tour. Plenty of Golf Still This Fall at the STPGA!

Spring, TX - Summer may be winding down, but there is still plenty of golf ahead at the Southern Texas PGA! With opportunities to qualify for Team STPGA, championship events, Drive, Chip & Putt competition and more than 100 events remaining across STPGA Junior Golf programs, the fall season is set to be an exciting one. Qualify for the Bayou Cup The road to the Bayou Cup continues this fall as junior golfers compete for the opportunity to represent Team STPGA. Players still have opportunities to earn their spot and compete alongside some of the top junior golfers in Southern Texas. Below are the upcoming events where players can earn an exemption toward a spot on Team STPGA for this year’s Bayou Cup. Boys 15-18: - Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase (August 15-16, 2026) - Boys 15-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Boys 11-14: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Boys 11-14 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Girls 11-18: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Girls 11-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) The Bayou Cup is always a highlight on the STPGA Junior Golf calendar, giving players the opportunity to represent Southern Texas in a team competition and create memories both on and off the course. Cypress, TX (August 10-11, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour stayed in Houston for the STPGA Challenge at BlackHorse Golf Club, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. Round one brought challenging conditions and rain delays, but the field remained focused and made the most of every opportunity once play resumed. Despite the interruptions, players delivered strong performances throughout the opening round before returning for day two ready to finish strong. From steady play to clutch moments down the stretch, the talented field once again showcased the resilience and determination that define the Srixon Prestige Tour.
