What’s your favorite place you played, round of golf, lowest score:
I've never even pkayed 9-holes before!


What’s one thing people don’t know about you:
I am 4’11”, but I’ve hit a PR on back squat at the gym of 165 lbs.


Were you involved in golf before working with the STPGA: I previously interned for First Tee Greater Houston and was a traveling operations intern for the AJGA!


What’s your favorite way to spend a day off:
I love to have a good self care day with face masks and bingeing Gossip Girl!


What would you sing at karaoke night:
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond


What was your first job:
Working at Chick-Fil-A


What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from Texas:
I've been lucky enough to travel to Ethiopia which is about 8,500 miles from TX!


What are some of your favorite hobbies (how did you get into them):
Photography- I started this hobby in high school yearbook class and my talent and passion grew from there and I have even photographed a friend’s wedding

Working out/nutrition- One of my best friend’s dad is a body builder and I learned a lot from my friend himself about how to plan workouts, what exercises target which muscles, and a lot about nutrition like macro nutrients— significantly helps my mental health and of course physical, I like to see the improvements in strength every week and it is really cool to see how far you can challenge yourself


What’s your favorite golf memory:
My favorite golf memory is when I was teaching an 8-9 year old class at First Tee Greater Houston, and I was able to teach them the basics as well as build a genuine relationship with some of the participants.


What did you want to be when you were little:
A firefighter! I even had my own kid-sized red engine.


What is your greatest accomplishment/what are you most proud of:
One thing I’m most proud of is moving across the country to Montana knowing no one and trying something new. I volunteered with a ministry called A Christian Ministry in the National Parks and I lived and worked in Glacier National Park for one entire summer. I was proud that I took a risk, stepped out of my comfort zone, and made once in a lifetime friendships. Specifically, when I was there, I did a life changing solo hike to the Sperry Chalet. It is a 12.4 mile in total hike with an almost 3,500 ft elevation gain. 


Who is your favorite PGA TOUR Pro? Why?:
Scottie Scheffler because I grew up watching him get better every year and now it’s amazing to see where he’s come from and where I’ve come from since he started his career.


What is your favorite sport outside of golf: Football and Baseball, but if I jad to choose I'd say college football specifically!

Bandera, TX (January 31 - February 1, 2026) – This weekend, the Srixon Prestige Tour held the Heart of Texas Classic at Flying L Ranch Golf Course, and it was a great event from start to finish. A big thank-you to Flying L for being such a fantastic host and providing an excellent setting for our players. Organization continues its support for both junior golfers and PGA Professionals SPRING, TX (January 28, 2026) - The Southern Texas PGA is thrilled to welcome back First Community Credit Union (First Community) as a returning Patron Partner of the STPGA and its initiatives. This will mark the third year that the organizations are tied together with a shared mission to give back to the Houston community, create unique storytelling opportunities, and invest in the next generation of golfers. The partnership spans across all three competitive seasons of the STPGA Junior Golf Program and covers support of Little Linksters, Junior Links, and Junior Tour events. Another major facet of the partnership includes the First Community Scholarship that is awarded annually through the PGA REACH Southern Texas Scholarship Program. “As we enter our third year of partnership, we are grateful for First Community’s unwavering support of junior golf in Southern Texas,” said Thomas Hutton, PGA, Executive Director of the STPGA. “Their involvement allows us to expand opportunities across all levels of our junior golf programs, support our section professionals, and continue to make an impact in our community.” In 2025, First Community and the STPGA expanded their involvement through the creation of the First Community STPGA Team and after a major success, the 2026 First Community STPGA Team is ready to go.
