The Insperity Invitational and Southern Texas PGA Enter 20th Year of Growing the Game!

2026 Junior Pro-Am will be the 20th time 36 Junior Golfers will have the opportunity to play with PGA TOUR Champions professionals.

SPRING, TX (August 13th) - The Southern Texas PGA is thrilled to announce its ongoing partnership with the Insperity Invitational presented by UnitedHealthcare and the Junior Pro-Am. On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, 36 STPGA Junior Golfers will have the opportunity to play 9 holes with a PGA TOUR Champions professional, providing them with an unforgettable experience.

“We are thrilled to continue to host this Pro-Am for STPGA Junior Golfers,” said Bryan Naugle, Executive Director for the Insperity Invitational. “We are committed to growing the game of golf as are the PGA TOUR Champions professionals who play with the kids.”


The 20th playing of this event will be held at The Woodlands Country Club—Tournament Course.
During the 2025 Fall Season, junior golfers will have two pathways to earning an exemption into the Junior Pro-Am. The first way is through the Junior Tour and Little Linksters Fall Championships being held December 13-14 at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, TX.


Exemptions will be spread throughout all divisions for both Junior Tour and Little Linksters and can be found here:

The second is through the Insperity Invitational Points List for the Srixon Prestige Tour. After the final event in 2025, the overall boy and girl winner of the Insperity Invitational 13-18 Points List will each earn the final 2 spots into the 2026 Junior Pro-Am.

“It is hard to believe that 2026 will mark the 20th year of this event,” said Thomas Hutton, Executive Director for the STPGA. “This means that over 700 different junior golfers have had a once in a lifetime experience to learn from PGA TOUR Champions and play insight the ropes at one of the most marque PGA TOUR Champions events in the country.”

We encourage all players to play their best this fall and try to earn a spot in the season-ending Championship or through the Srixon Prestige Tour to qualify for the Junior Pro-Am!

The 2026 Insperity Invitational presented by UnitedHealthcare will take place at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course May 4-10, 2026. We encourage all STPGA Junior Golfers to come out and watch the best PGA TOUR Champions professionals

New Braunfels, TX (August 15-16, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to New Braunfels, Texas, for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. With great weather throughout the event, the field had ideal conditions to showcase their skills and battle for the top spots. Players delivered strong performances from start to finish, with steady play and impressive moments shaping the leaderboard across both rounds. As the competition came down to the final holes, the talented field once again showcased the skill, determination and competitive spirit that define the Srixon Prestige Tour. Plenty of Golf Still This Fall at the STPGA!

Spring, TX - Summer may be winding down, but there is still plenty of golf ahead at the Southern Texas PGA! With opportunities to qualify for Team STPGA, championship events, Drive, Chip & Putt competition and more than 100 events remaining across STPGA Junior Golf programs, the fall season is set to be an exciting one. Qualify for the Bayou Cup The road to the Bayou Cup continues this fall as junior golfers compete for the opportunity to represent Team STPGA. Players still have opportunities to earn their spot and compete alongside some of the top junior golfers in Southern Texas. Below are the upcoming events where players can earn an exemption toward a spot on Team STPGA for this year’s Bayou Cup. PT Recap: STPGA Challenge

Cypress, TX (August 10-11, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour stayed in Houston for the STPGA Challenge at BlackHorse Golf Club, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. Round one brought challenging conditions and rain delays, but the field remained focused and made the most of every opportunity once play resumed. Despite the interruptions, players delivered strong performances throughout the opening round before returning for day two ready to finish strong. From steady play to clutch moments down the stretch, the talented field once again showcased the resilience and determination that define the Srixon Prestige Tour.
