Insperity Invitational Junior Pro-Am set to return in 2021

SPRING, TX (September 21, 2021) - The Southern Texas PGA is excited to announce its continued relationship with the Insperity Invitational and the Junior Pro-Am. On Tuesday, April 26, 2022 - 36 STPGA junior golfers will enjoy the experience of a

lifetime playing 9-holes with a PGA TOUR Champions player.


2022 will mark the 14th time STPGA Junior Golfers will earn an exemption into this great event through the 2021 Classic Chevy Sugar Land and Classic Chevy HWY 6 Fall Championship. The event provides the opportunity for STPGA Junior Golfers to play The Woodlands CC - Tournament Course the same week that the PGA TOUR Champions play it.


“We are excited to have this continued partnership with Insperity Invitational that provides such a great playing opportunity for our junior golfers,” said STPGA Executive Director, Thomas Hutton. “With this event making its return since before the pandemic, we know our juniors will be eager to earn a spot.”


“The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program continues to provide high quality events for juniors of all ages and we are happy to support the program,” said Jane Wandmacher, Tournament Director for the Insperity Invitational. “The Junior Pro-Am is not only a fun day for the juniors, but also the PGA TOUR Champions.”

Exemptions into the Junior Pro-Am will be given out at the Fall Championship by division during both the Junior Tour and Little Linksters events at Horseshoe Bay Resort December 11-12, 2021.

Invitations to the Fall Championship are based on the Fall Points List and the invitation breakdown will be announced in early October.


The 2022 Insperity Invitational presented by UnitedHealthcare will take place at The Woodlands Country Club - Tournament Course on Monday, April 25 - Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Cypress, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour continued its spring season with the Rocket City Open, held March 16–17, as junior golfers took on a competitive field in another exciting Monday–Tuesday event. Battling through challenging conditions, players faced strong winds and cold temperatures that tested their resilience and shot-making across both rounds. Despite the harsh weather, the event showcased incredible determination and high-level play from start to finish. PT Recap: Hill Country Open

San Antonio, TX (March 7-8, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to San Antonio this past weekend for the Hill Country Open , held March 7–8 at the Hill Country Golf Club. Despite rainy and challenging weather conditions, junior golfers showed great determination during the tournament. Due to the weather, the event was only able to complete the first round, but players still delivered a strong day of competitive golf, making it another memorable stop on the 2026 Srixon Prestige Tour. Congratulations to Lia Beyer, and our Boys 15-18 Champion, Diego Amour for earning an invite to the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship , hosted at Boot Ranch on July 20–21, 2026!
