Lake Charles, LA (March 21-22, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour continued its spring season with the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic, held in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as junior golfers competed in another exciting event. With great weather throughout the tournament, players were able to showcase their skills and shot-making ability across both rounds, delivering a strong and competitive field from start to finish.
This year marked our fourth time returning to Lake Charles, a community that continues to provide an outstanding championship setting for our junior golfers. It also marked our fourth year partnering with the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour and PGA Gulf States, a collaboration that continues to grow the game and create valuable opportunities for players across the region.

Wayne Kabrich Claims Boys 15–18 Title at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic
Wayne Kabrich delivered a consistent and composed performance to claim the Boys 15–18 Division title at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic, opening with a strong 71 (E) in round one to take the lead and maintaining his position atop the leaderboard with a 74 (+3) on day two to secure the victory. Kabrich set the tone early with an impressive 16 pars in the opening round and continued his steady play throughout the tournament, finishing with a total of 28 pars across both days, the most in his division, proving that his consistency was the key to earning the win. With the win, Wayne also earned an exemption into the Bluebonnet Championship on the Legends Junior Tour.
Grace Goodwin Claims Girls 15-18 & Overall Title at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic
Grace Goodwin delivered an impressive comeback performance to capture the Girls 15–18 Division title and Overall Champion honors at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic. After opening with a 74 (+3) to sit tied for third place, she surged to the top of the leaderboard on day two with a strong 72 (+1), highlighted by four birdies that fueled her climb. Her ability to elevate her play when it mattered most secured the victory and earned her an exemption into the Bluebonnet Championship on the Legends Junior Tour.
Landon Lotz Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic
Landon Lotz put together a dominant performance to claim the Boys 11–14 Division title at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic. He set the pace early with a 74 (+3) in round one to take the lead and never looked back, following it up with a 73 (+2) on day two to finish at 147 (+5) and secure a commanding nine-shot victory. Lotz’s well-rounded play stood out all tournament long, as he led his division with seven birdies and an impressive 26 pars across the two days, showcasing both scoring ability and consistency.
Adele Kontrus Claims Girls 11-14 Title at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic
Adele Kontrus showed determination and steady play to claim the Girls 11–14 Division title at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic. After opening with a 79 (+8) to sit in second place, she battled her way to the top of the leaderboard on day two with an 80 (+9) to secure the victory. Her consistency throughout the tournament made the difference, as she led her division with 21 pars across the weekend.
