Cypress, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour continued its spring season with the Rocket City Open, held March 16–17, as junior golfers took on a competitive field in another exciting Monday–Tuesday event. Battling through challenging conditions, players faced strong winds and cold temperatures that tested their resilience and shot-making across both rounds. Despite the harsh weather, the event showcased incredible determination and high-level play from start to finish.

Jace Beverly Claims Boys 15–18 Title at the Rocket City Open
Jace Beverly delivered a strong and steady performance to claim the Boys 15-18 Division title at the Rocket City Open. After opening with a 74 (+2) in round one, he stayed composed and climbed into first place on day two with another 74 (+2) , highlighted by an impressive six birdies, the most in his division across the tournament. His ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities proved to be the difference, securing him the victory. With the win, Jace also earned exemptions into both the Bluebonnet Championship and the Texas Junior Amateur on the Legends Junior Tour.
Sophia Liu Claims Girls 15-18 & Overall Title at the Rocket City Open
Sophia Liu delivered a standout performance to claim the Girls 15-18 Division title and Overall Champion honors at the Rocket City Open. She set the tone early with a 74 (+2) in the opening round and remained in control with a 77 (+5) on day two, holding the top spot throughout the tournament. Sophia’s ability to create scoring opportunities was unmatched, as she recorded seven birdies across the two days, the most in her division. Her consistent play secured the victory and earned her exemptions into both the Bluebonnet Championship and the Texas Junior Amateur on the Legends Junior Tour.
Griffin Domingues Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Rocket City Open
Griffin Domingues made an impressive comeback to capture the Boys 11-14 Division title at the Rocket City Open. After opening with an 84 (+12) in round one, he surged into first place on day two with a strong 76 (+4), showcasing resilience and determination in challenging conditions. Griffin’s ability to find scoring opportunities set him apart, as he recorded six birdies across the two days, the most in his division. His standout second round performance ultimately secured him the victory.
Phoenix Aguilar Claims Girls 11-14 Title at the Rocket City Open
Phoenix Aguilar led from start to finish to claim the Girls 11-14 Division title at the Rocket City Open. She opened with an 86 (+14) in round one and followed it up with an improved 82 (+10) on day two, maintaining her position at the top of the leaderboard throughout the tournament. Phoenix’s consistency was key to her success, as she recorded 17 pars across the two rounds, the most in her division. Her steady play secured her a well-earned victory.
