Spicewood, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour returned for another Monday-Tuesday event with the 2026 Shootout in the Hills, held at Lakecliff Golf Club. With multiple exemptions on the line, junior golfers faced a competitive field and up-and-down weather conditions that made for an exciting two days of golf.

Brady Shelton Claims Boys 15–18 Title at the Shootout in the Hills
Brady Shelton strung together an impressive second round performance to push him to the victory in a competitive Boys 15-18 field. He shot a 68 (-2) with three birdies and only one bogey on Tuesday, bringing him to even par for the tournament. His steady play was crucial, giving him the opportunity to win on his home course and earn an exemption to the Bluebonnet Championship on the Legends Junior Tour!
Francie Martin Claims Girls 15-18 & Overall Title at the Shootout in the Hills
Francie Martin earned the Girls 15-18 and Overall Title with a strong Round 2. She held the lead after the first day of competition and improved on her own score by an impressive seven strokes on Tuesday, carding five birdies on the day to bring her to one-over par. Her steady performance also earned her the third STPGA exemption into the 2026 Chevron Junior Pro-Am, which will be held Sunday, April 19 in Houston.
Trevor Lane Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Shootout in the Hills
Trevor Lane had an explosive Round 2 performance to bring him from third position to the victory in Spicewood. His five birdies and only one bogey brought him to a tournament-leading 4-under par on Tuesday. His ability to stay composed and consistent in a competitive field helped him to the well-earned title.
Pippa Fikes Claims Girls 11-14 Title at the Shootout in the Hills
Pippa Fikes earned her third Girls 11-14 Title of 2026 with her victory at the Shootout in the Hills. Her seven birdies throughout the tournament was the most of the girls, with five coming in the second round. Her consistent play, both at this event and throughout the season, helped secure her the Champion title.
