Houston, TX (February 14-15, 2026) –   The Srixon Prestige Tour continued in Houston this past weekend as Gus Wortham Park Golf Course played host to the 2026 Battle in the Big City. Rescheduled from the weekend of January 24-25 due to cold weather, junior golfers had a much better forecast this time around. Daniel Trousdale Claims Boys 15–18 Title at the Battle in the Big City

Daniel strung together two impressive days in Houston, shooting three under par in Round 1 and Round 2. He also had twelve birdies on the weekend, including five on the back-nine on Sunday that secured him the victory. His consistency and level-headed play were key in putting him at the top of a close field.

Kat Janda Claims Girls 15-18 & Overall Title at the Battle in the Big City


Kat's consistency on the course in Round 2 earned her the victory at Gus Wortham Park Golf Course. Finishing second in the Girls Division after Round 1, Kat shot par or better on 14 holes on Sunday to jump into first position. Her +12 total was the best of any girls golfer on the weekend, earning her the Overall Girls Title in Houston.

Conrad Holzman Claims Boys 11-14 Title at the Battle in the Big City


Conrad's strong Round 1 performance put him in stellar position to pull off the Boys 11-14 win over the weekend. He finished Saturday at a score of +4 and maintained his lead by shooting three strokes better than his nearest competition in Round 2, securing him the victory in his Division.

Chloe Magwe Claims Girls 11-14 Title at the Battle in the Big City


Chloe stayed steady in both days at the Battle in the Big City. Her Round 1 performance placed her first in the Girls 11-14 Division and third Overall going into the second day of competition. Her five total birdies gave her a comfortable lead and allowed her to finish first in her Division and second Overall in Houston.

New Braunfels, TX (August 15-16, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to New Braunfels, Texas, for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. With great weather throughout the event, the field had ideal conditions to showcase their skills and battle for the top spots. Players delivered strong performances from start to finish, with steady play and impressive moments shaping the leaderboard across both rounds. As the competition came down to the final holes, the talented field once again showcased the skill, determination and competitive spirit that define the Srixon Prestige Tour. Spring, TX - Summer may be winding down, but there is still plenty of golf ahead at the Southern Texas PGA! With opportunities to qualify for Team STPGA, championship events, Drive, Chip & Putt competition and more than 100 events remaining across STPGA Junior Golf programs, the fall season is set to be an exciting one. Qualify for the Bayou Cup The road to the Bayou Cup continues this fall as junior golfers compete for the opportunity to represent Team STPGA. Players still have opportunities to earn their spot and compete alongside some of the top junior golfers in Southern Texas. Below are the upcoming events where players can earn an exemption toward a spot on Team STPGA for this year’s Bayou Cup. Boys 15-18: - Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase (August 15-16, 2026) - Boys 15-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Boys 11-14: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Boys 11-14 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) Girls 11-18: - Antigua Sun City Showdown (September 26-27, 2026) - Girls 11-18 Points List Leader (as of October 1, 2026) The Bayou Cup is always a highlight on the STPGA Junior Golf calendar, giving players the opportunity to represent Southern Texas in a team competition and create memories both on and off the course. Cypress, TX (August 10-11, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour stayed in Houston for the STPGA Challenge at BlackHorse Golf Club, where players took on a competitive two-day championship. Round one brought challenging conditions and rain delays, but the field remained focused and made the most of every opportunity once play resumed. Despite the interruptions, players delivered strong performances throughout the opening round before returning for day two ready to finish strong. From steady play to clutch moments down the stretch, the talented field once again showcased the resilience and determination that define the Srixon Prestige Tour. 307 Junior Golfers from across Southern Texas earned their way to the Championship after playing in countless events all summer long. THE WOODLANDS, TX (AUGUST 6, 2026) - The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program wrapped up the summer season for 2026 with a record-breaking 307 player field at the annual STPGA Junior Championship. Hosted at The Woodlands Country Club – Palmer Course for the 13th time, 15 Champions were crowned across our three programs of Little Linksters, Junior Links, and Junior Tour. The extraordinary talent and sportsmanship on display all week long serve as an ongoing inspiration for aspiring junior golfers. The event started with a bang with the yearly “Carnival Day” on Monday, giving our junior golfers and families the opportunity to have some summertime fun before the competition began. In true carnival fashion, there were so many activities that it was hard to hit everything!
