MISSOURI CITY, TEXAS (September 16-17, 2023) - The Srixon Billiard Prestige Tour held the Space City Challenge at Quail Valley golf course this past weekend. The 36-hole event was delayed due to weather in the middle of Round One forcing Round Two to be played in a shotgun format making for an eventful second day.
Jace Parsell out of Fulshear, TX was crowned champion for the Boys 13-18 division after a playoff hole at the end of day two. Parsell, who was sitting at +1 after Round One, scored -3 in day two, for a total score of 140, to force the playoff against Dominic Green en route to being crowned champion. This is Jace’s first victory on the Prestige Tour since joining in 2022.
For the Girls 13-18 division, Brielle Burns took home the first place finish by eight strokes with a total score of 144 (+2). 17 year-old Burns led wire-to-wire for her second Prestige Tour win in 2023. Burns has been a member of the STPGA since 2013 and looks to continue her dominance throughout the Fall season.
