PT Recap: TPC Industrial Spring Fling and Heart of Texas Classic

PEARLAND, TEXAS & KERRVILLE, TEXAS (April 22 - 23, 2023) - This weekend the Southern Texas PGA held two Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour tournaments in Pearland and Kerrville.



The TPC Industrial Spring Fling was held this weekend at Pearland Golf Club. With 121 of our Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour players and two lightning delays, we had an eventful weekend full of great golf.




In the Overall Girls Division, Joann Bee of The Woodlands finished Round One with a (+7) 79 giving her a one-stroke lead over the field. Going into the final round, Joann had her sights on winning and used her momentum to seal her victory with a (+2) 74. Her tournament total was a (+9) 153 with an overall five-stroke difference win. This was Joann’s third Prestige Tour victory of 2023, her last two finishes at the Prestige Tour Premiere and Houston Junior Classic.



In the Overall Boys Division, Caleb Lumpkin of Houston, walked home victorious after overcoming a T-3 finish going into Round Two. In his opening round, Caleb carded a (+2) 74, leaving him two-strokes from the leaders. Knowing this, he went into the final round, set on ending the day with a win. He carded a tournament total (+2) 74 which included six birdies. This was Caleb’s second Prestige Tour victory since joining the STPGA in 2014.




The Heart of Texas Classic was held this weekend at Riverhill Country Club. With 88 of our Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour players teeing it up, it made for a great weekend of golf.




In the Overall Girls Division, local Raleygh Simpson of Kerrville went home a champion. Finishing Round One with a (+4) 76, Raleygh was in fourth place going into the final round. Knowing the standings, Raleygh grinded it out on the second day and shot (-3) 75 to place her as the champion. This was Raleygh’s second Prestige Tour victory since becoming a member of the STPGA in 2014.




In the Overall Boys Division, Yi Wen Huang of Austin left victorious after climbing up the leaderboard and a playoff. Finishing Round One with (E) 72, Yi Wen was at a four-stroke deficit from the leader, but made up for it in the final round. He carded a tournament total of (-1) 143 which landed him in a playoff with Andrew Reyes of San Antonio. Yi Wen won the one-hole playoff with a birdie. This was Yi Wen’s first ever Prestige Tour victory since joining the STPGA in 2020.



PT Recap: Rocket City Open

Cypress, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour continued its spring season with the Rocket City Open, held March 16–17, as junior golfers took on a competitive field in another exciting Monday–Tuesday event. Battling through challenging conditions, players faced strong winds and cold temperatures that tested their resilience and shot-making across both rounds. Despite the harsh weather, the event showcased incredible determination and high-level play from start to finish. PT Recap: Shootout in the Hills

Spicewood, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour returned for another Monday-Tuesday event with the 2026 Shootout in the Hills, held at Lakecliff Golf Club. With multiple exemptions on the line, junior golfers faced a competitive field and up-and-down weather conditions that made for an exciting two days of golf. PT Recap: Spring Break Classic

Katy, TX (March 9-10, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour held its first Monday-Tuesday event of the year with the 2026 Spring Break Classic at The Club at Falcon Point. PT Recap: Hill Country Open

San Antonio, TX (March 7-8, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to San Antonio this past weekend for the Hill Country Open , held March 7–8 at the Hill Country Golf Club. Despite rainy and challenging weather conditions, junior golfers showed great determination during the tournament. Due to the weather, the event was only able to complete the first round, but players still delivered a strong day of competitive golf, making it another memorable stop on the 2026 Srixon Prestige Tour. Congratulations to Lia Beyer, and our Boys 15-18 Champion, Diego Amour for earning an invite to the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship , hosted at Boot Ranch on July 20–21, 2026!
