Srixon Prestige Tour Summer Preview Draws to a Close

SPRING, TEXAS (May 20, 2019) --- The Srixon Prestige Tour Summer Preview at Gleannloch Pines Golf Club drew to a close Sunday evening after an exciting two days of golf. The tournament saw scattered showers over the course of the two days (May 18-19, 2019) but did not affect the abilities of the highly-skilled golfers.
Leading her field with a two-day total of 148 (+6), Darrelyn Webster won the Girls 13-14 division after rounds of 75 and 73. Coming in second and third were Jiyu Han at 153 (+11) and Ceci Lococo at 160 (+18), respectively.
In the Girls 15-18 division, Jacqueline Nguyen came in with a two-day total of 144 (+2) after rounds of 71 and 73, making her the overall Girls winner. Cari Denson was the runner up with a two-day total of 147 (+5). Third place was captured by Maggie Ni with a two-day total of 149 (+7).
The Boys divisions was to cut to 31-holes due to severe weather in the Houston area. Leading the Boys 13-14 Division with a rounds of 69 and 53 was Daniel Zou, also the overall boys champion. Coming in second and third were Aaron Pounds and Jack Gilbert at 125 (+3) strokes over the two days.
Daniel Zou was the only player to shoot even or better over the course of 31-holes played in the overall Boys 13-18.
In the Boys 15-18 division there was a four-way tie for first. Because of the severe weather in the area, the boy’s scorecards were used as a tie-breaker. It was determined that Davis Archer (76-49---125) was the champion of the division, followed by Hunter Drotts (74-51---125) and Xing Luo (74-51---125).

Montgomery, TX (July 30-31, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour returned to Montgomery, Texas, for the Prestige Tour Open at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club, where players battled soaring temperatures throughout the two-day championship. Despite the challenging conditions, the field delivered impressive performances with steady play, low scores, and determined finishes. As the summer season continues, these juniors proved they can compete at a high level no matter what the weather brings. San Antonio, TX (July 13-14, 2026) – Despite the Sunshine and Swing Challenge living up to only half of its name, junior golfers battled through the weather at Hill Country Golf Club in San Antonio for two days of outstanding competition. A talented field showcased resilience, determination, and impressive play in the pursuit of championship titles. In addition to the champions, four players secured the final spots in the 2026 The Insperity Tour Championship for the Srixon Prestige Tour through the Last Chance Qualifier during Round 1. Fletcher Whiting, Myles Malek, Ava Frazier, and Addison McCullough earned invitations with strong performances, punching their tickets to the season-ending championship and completing the Tour Championship field. League City, TX (July 13-14, 2026) – Though Houston's summer storms crowded the forecast, the Srixon Prestige Tour crowned champions at the Space City Challenge at Magnolia Creek Golf Club. Over the course of two days, our junior golfers showed their determination and talent despite the weather in an extremely competitive field. We would also like to congratulate four of our competitors for earning their "Last Chance" qualifying spots into The Insperity Tour Championship next week: Joslyn Born, Viktoria Germain, Cody Michals, and Cooper Hwang!
