Houston Area Chevy Dealers STPGA Junior Championship Summer Invitation Breakdown

The 2023 Houston Area Chevy Dealers STPGA Junior Championship Invitation Breakdowns have been released! We're excited to host this year's Championship at The Woodlands Country Club (Palmer Course) on July 24 - July 26. This has been updated from years past, so please read the following breakdowns carefully.

In order to be very clear on who receives invitations, our invitation process has been updated for

2023.


1.  Once invitations are sent, invited players will have 24 hours to register or decline their invitation. After a player declines or no action has been completed in 24 hours, the invited player will lose their spot and the next player from the same division/metro area Points List will be invited. This process will continue until the division is full or by Saturday, July 22 at 12:00 p.m. If there are no players next on the same list, the spot will revert to the overall division Points List.


2.  Players in the top 10% of their respective overall division Points List regardless of metro area that may not have earned a spot via the breakdown below will receive an invitation. If these spots are not needed, this does not mean the STPGA will invite more players.


3.  Outside of what is listed in this outline, no additional invitations will be granted. The field

will be considered final as of Saturday, July 22 at 12:00 p.m.

PT Recap: Rocket City Open

Cypress, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour continued its spring season with the Rocket City Open, held March 16–17, as junior golfers took on a competitive field in another exciting Monday–Tuesday event. Battling through challenging conditions, players faced strong winds and cold temperatures that tested their resilience and shot-making across both rounds. Despite the harsh weather, the event showcased incredible determination and high-level play from start to finish. PT Recap: Shootout in the Hills

Spicewood, TX (March 16-17, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour returned for another Monday-Tuesday event with the 2026 Shootout in the Hills, held at Lakecliff Golf Club. With multiple exemptions on the line, junior golfers faced a competitive field and up-and-down weather conditions that made for an exciting two days of golf. PT Recap: Spring Break Classic

Katy, TX (March 9-10, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour held its first Monday-Tuesday event of the year with the 2026 Spring Break Classic at The Club at Falcon Point. Junior golfers experienced beautiful weather and course conditions and had strong performances through two rounds of golf. PT Recap: Hill Country Open

San Antonio, TX (March 7-8, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour traveled to San Antonio this past weekend for the Hill Country Open , held March 7–8 at the Hill Country Golf Club. Despite rainy and challenging weather conditions, junior golfers showed great determination during the tournament. Due to the weather, the event was only able to complete the first round, but players still delivered a strong day of competitive golf, making it another memorable stop on the 2026 Srixon Prestige Tour. Congratulations to Lia Beyer, and our Boys 15-18 Champion, Diego Amour for earning an invite to the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship , hosted at Boot Ranch on July 20–21, 2026! This prestigious championship brings together top junior talent for an exciting two days of competition at one of Texas’ premier venues. You can find more information about the championship here .
