HOUSTON, TEXAS (June 19-20, 2023) – The Classic Chevy HWY 6 & Classic Chevy Sugar Land Mid-Summer Showcase was held early this week at Westwood Golf Club. A total of 154 players teed up for the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour for two days of competitive golf.

In the Overall Girls Division, Jamison Louie of Sugar Land, maintained her lead through both rounds. Shooting a Round One (-4) 68, Jamison was tied for first going into the final round. Overall, Jamison finished carding a notable tournament total of (-7) 137, ending the tour with 10 birdies. After claiming the overall division title, Jamison earned an exemption into the 2023 Texas Junior Amateur at the White Bluff Resort in July. She also earned an exemption into the 2023 The Ascendant LPGA Benefiting VOA Girls Championship. This was Jamison’s sixth Prestige Tour victory since joining the STPGA in 2015.

In the Overall Boys Division, J.J. Worrell of Montgomery, finished Round One with a (+3) 75, landing himself in a tough fight for the lead. For his final round he climbed the leaderboard and ultimately walked away the champion. He carded a final round (-5) 67, which included seven birdies. After claiming the overall division title, J.J. earned an exemption into the 2023 Texas Junior Amateur at White Bluff Resort in July. This was J.J.’s first ever Prestige Tour win since becoming a member of the STPGA in 2016.
