Spring, TX (October 8, 2025) – Thank you so much for your continued support of one of the largest junior golf programs in the country. We are extremely grateful for your support throughout the year, and we continue to enjoy creating lifelong golfers.
2025 is a record year for the program with the largest number of members in our history (over 5,000), and we are on pace for the most rounds of golf played in the calendar year. From Little Linksters to the Srixon Prestige Tour and everything in between, we are proud of the growth in our program, but also know we can always improve and provide better experiences for everyone.
With that said, you can Click Here to take our annual survey that helps provide direct feedback to our team as we review 2025, but more importantly, plan for 2026. We want to hear directly from our parents and players regarding all aspects of our program. From the website to our communication to our golf courses to our event administration. Speaking of our team, the Southern Texas PGA continues to grow and evolve, and I have some exciting announcements to share about our staff. Our current Director of Junior Golf, Lexi Sobieski, who has been with us for two years, is being promoted to Senior Director of Membership for the Southern Texas PGA. She will continue to oversee the junior golf department but will start to assist our organization on more of our PGA Member initiatives. Lexi has done an unbelievable job leading our program, and we appreciate her continued support into the future.
I am thrilled to announce that J.T. Milner will assume the role of Director of Junior Golf and lead all aspects of our first three steps in our Player Pathway. J.T. started as an intern in January 2022 and has continued to grow within our business, and I look forward to him leading the program for many years to come. From his ability to build relationships with juniors, parents, and our facilities to understanding all aspects of our program, I am excited to see how J.T. continues the positive momentum of junior golf in Southern Texas.
In addition, the STPGA is currently seeking a Junior Golf Coordinator to round out the department, and this job posting can be found here. This transition into these new roles full-time will take place over the next 30-60 days.
I would also like to thank our Srixon Prestige Tour team, led by Prestige Tour Manager Connor Murphy and our two Prestige Tour Coordinators, Casey Klassen, who started earlier this year, and Kevin Reilly, who joined us last month. As we continue this Fall Season and close out 2025, a few quick hits and reminders.
- The Srixon Prestige Tour is hosting our first Bayou Cup against the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour on December 6-7 at Big Easy Ranch in Columbus, TX. Go STPGA Team!
- The Fall Championship is being held at Horseshoe Bay Resort, December 13-14, for Little Linksters, Junior Links, and Junior Tour.
- 2026 Membership will open on December 2nd, and our membership fee will remain at $95 for the 2026 calendar year.
- The 2026 Spring Schedule will be viewable on December 2nd, and registration for January and February events will open on December 9th.
- 2026 will be the 15th year of the Srixon Prestige Tour, and we are looking at over 45 events on our schedule.
On behalf of our 1,000+ PGA Members and Associates, thank you for participating in our program and continuing to support the game of golf. The STPGA’s mission remains unchanged, and that is to continue to create lifelong golfers who exemplify the values of golf.
