Victoria, TX (October 17-18, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour headed to Victoria Country Club this weekend for the 2026 Discover Victoria South Texas Showcase! Players faced challenging conditions during the opening round, with chilly temperatures and high winds testing their skills on the course. SPRING, TX (October 15, 2026) - For the 21st year, the Southern Texas PGA and The Insperity presented by UnitedHealthcare are partnering up in a commitment to grow the game in South Texas. 36 STPGA Junior Golfers will have the unique opportunity to play 9 holes of golf with a PGA Tour Champions professional on a tournament-level course. The 2027 event will take place on Tuesday, April 27 before The Insperity tournament at The Woodlands Country Club – Tournament Course.

La Porte, TX (October 3-4, 2026) – The Bay Forest Junior Championship continued its 37-year tradition of junior golf at Bay Forest Golf Course this past weekend! Players battled through two rounds, and even with a little rain on Day 2, the players persevered through the conditions. Congratulations to all of our division champions! Adding to the history of this event, the Boys 15–18 and Girls 11–18 overall champions will have their names etched onto the Kiibler Cup forever, becoming part of the tournament’s legacy for years to come. Good Evening Players, Parents, & Family Friends, September kicked off an exciting start to Fall on the Srixon Prestige Tour. Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - September September kicked off the Fall with exciting weekend events, starting in San Antonio as the Srixon Prestige Tour visited the historic Brackenridge Park Golf Course for the Cavender Buick GMC North Brackenridge Park Classic , and scores did not disappoint. Gavin Swearengin of San Antonio, TX, started off strong and did not look back. Swearengin topped it off with a 7-under 28 on the back nine in Round 2 to finish 15-under par and claim his first Boys 15-18 win of the year. In the Overall Girls Division, Jessie Lee of San Antonio, TX, claimed her third win of the year after impressive rounds of 5-under and 3-under to secure a 5-shot victory, adding another impressive finish to an outstanding year. Cort Cage of Montgomery, TX, battled his way to his first career win in the Boys 11-14. Cage fired a 4-under 31 on the back nine in Round 2, but no birdie was more important than his birdie putt on the 18th hole, which gave him a 1-shot edge and crowned him a champion. The following week, the Srixon Prestige Tour headed west of San Antonio for The Cowboy Cup at Flying L Ranch Golf Course, where players continued to go low. Braxton Simpson of Kerrville, TX, captured his first career Boys 15-18 title. Simpson had consistent rounds, firing a 4-under 68 in Round 1, and kept that momentum going, leading him to a comfortable three-shot victory. For our Overall Girls Division, Pippa Fikes of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX, led the way with two impressive under-par rounds and 4 birdies on the last 6 holes in Round 2. This marked Fikes’ 4th overall win of her impressive season. Luke Willis of Horseshoe Bay, TX, outlasted the rest of the field in a close battle to secure his first career Boys 11-14 title. Willis’ round of 78 in Round 2 led him to a 1-shot victory. The last event of September, the Srixon Prestige Tour headed over to Georgetown, TX, for the Antigua Sun City Showdown at White Wing Golf Club. Knox Frazier of Austin, TX, claimed his first career Boys 15-18 win after firing a 2-under 70 in Round 2 and battling it out with 4 other juniors who fell just 1 shot short of Frazier. We had a close battle in the Overall Girls Division as Natalie Vuu of Houston, TX, claimed her second win of the season. Vuu’s birdie on Hole 17 in Round 2 gave her a 1-shot lead after she put together two consistent rounds. Dawson Dial of Cedar Park, TX, claimed his second Boys 11-14 win of the year. Across two rounds of play, juniors navigated the course and battled for the top spots on the leaderboard. By the end of the weekend, four division champions emerged, adding their names to the list of Srixon Prestige Tour winners this season. Congratulations to Tiffany Wong on a strong showing at the Antigua Sun City Showdown! With her performance, Wong earned exemptions into both the 2026 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational and the 2027 Texas Junior Girls’ Invitational on the Legends Junior Tour. WALLER, TEXAS (SEPTEMBER 21, 2026) - One of the most highly anticipated junior golf events of the year wrapped up on Sunday as Team Northern Texas PGA defeated Team Southern Texas PGA by a score of 14 to 10 at the 15th Annual Texas Junior Cup Matches. The opening round of Mixed Four-Ball was an evenly-matched thriller, with Team NTPGA holding a narrow lead at 3.5 to 2.5 going into the afternoon Scramble Matches. There, the scoring gap opened up, giving Team NTPGA a more comfortable margin of 9-3 going into Sunday’s matches. Team STPGA did not go down without a fight, winning seven of the Singles Matches in the final round of competition. However, Northern Texas secured their third consecutive title with five victories on the day, bringing the tournament to the 14-10 final score. “Over the years, the Texas Junior Cup Matches have found a special place in the hearts of so many people,” Director of Junior Golf J.T. Milner said. “For the junior golfers and their families, the Matches have become a special part of their junior golf journey.” The event, held at Sand Hill Farm in Waller, TX, features 24 of the top junior golfers across the state aged 12 and under in a Ryder Cup-style format. On Friday, players and families participated in practice rounds and opening ceremonies before heading into two full days of competitive golf. Saturday featured 9-hole Mixed Four-Ball and Scramble Matches, while Sunday concluded the event with 9-hole Singles Matches. Sand Hill Farm once again was a spectacular host for the Matches. The unique 9-hole private course was created by the Tucker family, founders of Mustang Cat, and designed by former professional golfer Peter Jacobsen. We are grateful to the Tucker family for their continued support of this event, allowing us to give our junior golfers top-tier experiences. The Matches wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of our Captains and Vice Captains on both sides. Chad Moscovic, PGA led the victorious NTPGA team after filling the role of Vice Captain in the 2025 Matches, backed by Kim Paez, PGA. On the STPGA side, Jennifer MacCurrach, PGA provided guidance for the team, backed by David Pilsner, PGA. Both sides were instrumental in building an atmosphere of teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. “While the competition brings together some of the best junior golfers in Texas for inspired play on the course, the Matches are about so much more than just golf,” Milner said. “They give players the opportunity to meet new people, build lifelong friendships, and create memories with their families that go far beyond the competition itself.” With the victory, Team NTPGA holds the all-time series record at 7-5-1 and celebrates its third straight championship in the Matches’ history.

Bandera, TX (September 19-20, 2026) – The Srixon Prestige Tour made its way to Bandera, Texas, for the Cowboy Cup at Flying L Ranch, where players took on two days of competitive golf in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. With another opportunity to add a Prestige Tour title to their season, juniors battled throughout the weekend and delivered strong performances across each division. Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - August August came roaring onto the scene at Vaaler Creek Golf Club for the Creekside Clash , and the Srixon Prestige Tour wasted no time delivering some incredible golf! Layton Eckermann of Lampasas, TX took control early and never let up, cruising to a dominant 10-stroke victory for his first career Boys 11-14 win. Brady Shelton of Spicewood, TX fired a first-round 2-under 70 to seize the lead and held strong through the finish to capture his second Boys 15-18 title of the year. In the Overall Girls Division, Lucy Thompson of Austin, TX erased a four-shot Round 1 deficit with an impressive comeback to secure her first career victory! From there, the Tour headed east to Houston for the STPGA Challenge at BlackHorse Golf Club, where the competition heated up once again. Dakota Ybarra of Baytown, TX wasted no time making his move, opening with an even-par 72 to build a commanding six-shot lead and cruise to his second Boys 11-14 victory of the season. Boys 15-18 saw a thrilling comeback, as Sawyer Schellberg of Houston, TX battled back from six shots down to force a playoff—and then delivered when it mattered most to claim his first career win. Makenzie Minshew of The Woodlands, TX also rose to the occasion in a playoff, earning her first career Overall Girls victory in dramatic fashion! The Srixon Prestige Tour then headed west to New Braunfels for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course, and the drama continued. Cooper Powasnik of Schertz, TX erased a three-shot Round 1 deficit to storm back and capture his first career Boys 11-14 title. In the Boys 15-18 Division, Tate Vanlandingham of San Antonio, TX came through in a thrilling three-way playoff, sinking a birdie on the third playoff hole to secure his first career victory. August saved some of its biggest fireworks for last, wrapping up back in Houston at Quail Valley Golf Club for the Vortech Contracting H-Town Showdown . Dylan Hananto of Houston, TX went wire-to-wire to capture his first career Boys 11-14 victory. Reece Williams of Beaumont, TX held off a furious late charge from the field to earn his first career Boys 15-18 win. In the Overall Girls Division, Payson Pistono of The Woodlands, TX put together a dominant performance, pulling away from the field to win by six shots and claim her first Overall Girls victory of the year! 2026 Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches Team STPGA battled all the way to the finish at the 2026 Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches, but Team NTPGA ultimately claimed the Cup after a hard-fought competition between the best players of the two Sections. The action was intense from the start, with Day 1’s Four-Ball Matches ending in a 3-3 tie. Team STPGA then seized momentum in the Foursomes Matches, highlighted by a clutch putt from Emily Zhang on No. 9 to secure Match #5. The victory gave Team STPGA a narrow 6.5-5.5 lead heading into the final day, setting the stage for an exciting finish. With the Cup hanging in the balance, Team STPGA came out ready to battle in the Singles Matches. Despite a tremendous effort from the entire team, Team NTPGA caught fire and captured Day 2 by an 8.5-3.5 margin, securing the Cup with a final 14-10 victory. 307 Junior Golfers from across Southern Texas earned their way to the Championship after playing in countless events all summer long. THE WOODLANDS, TX (AUGUST 6, 2026) - The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program wrapped up the summer season for 2026 with a record-breaking 307 player field at the annual STPGA Junior Championship. Hosted at The Woodlands Country Club – Palmer Course for the 13th time, 15 Champions were crowned across our three programs of Little Linksters, Junior Links, and Junior Tour. The extraordinary talent and sportsmanship on display all week long serve as an ongoing inspiration for aspiring junior golfers. The event started with a bang with the yearly “Carnival Day” on Monday, giving our junior golfers and families the opportunity to have some summertime fun before the competition began. In true carnival fashion, there were so many activities that it was hard to hit everything!

The third edition of The Insperity Tour Championship has officially come to a close, and it delivered everything you could ask for in a championship. Birdies. Comebacks. Pressure-packed moments. Clutch performances. Two days of incredible junior golf set against the spectacular backdrop of Boot Ranch. Elliot Cope of Spicewood, Texas, showed exactly what champions are made of. Trailing by four shots entering the final round, Elliot never flinched. He fired a brilliant 3-under 68, erased the deficit, and pulled away to win the Boys Division by two strokes in one of the most impressive comeback performances of the season. On the Girls side, Ava Frazier of Austin, Texas, left no doubt. After opening with a spectacular 5-under 66 to build a three-shot lead, she refused to let up. Ava backed it up with another stellar round of 3-under 68 to finish the championship at an incredible 8-under par and capture the Girls Division title in commanding fashion. With their victories, Elliot and Ava earned full exempt status on the Legends Junior Tour from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, along with an invitation to the Greenwood Cup Junior Invitational and a place on Team STPGA for the second Bayou Cup Matches. In the Boys 15–18 Division, Townes Brower of Round Rock, TX, outdueled a stacked leaderboard to capture his first career Prestige Tour title. Pippa Fikes of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX, continued her incredible season, closing with a second-round 70 to secure her third Overall Girls victory of the year and further cement herself as one of the Tour's hottest players. The Tour then headed east to Magnolia Creek Golf Club in League City for the Space City Challenge , where heavy rain and challenging conditions tested every player in the field. Despite Mother Nature's best efforts, the competition never slowed. Dakota Ybarra of Baytown, TX, caught fire with three back-nine birdies in the opening round to earn his first career Boys 11–14 victory. Nolan Randall of Deer Park, TX, delivered one of the best rounds of the week, firing a brilliant second-round 68 to separate himself from the field and claim his first career Boys 15–18 title. Emma Ziniuk of Magnolia, TX, showcased her consistency with four birdies in the opening round, earning her second Overall Girls victory of the season and the third of her Prestige Tour career. While the rain fell in League City, another battle was unfolding in San Antonio at the Sunshine and Swing Challenge at Hill Country Golf Club. The Boys 11–14 Division needed extra holes to decide a champion, where Oliver Stordal of Austin, TX, emerged victorious on the second playoff hole to capture his first career Prestige Tour win. Marco Baima of Boerne, TX continued his dominant season, tallying five birdies over 27 holes to earn his fourth Boys 15–18 victory of the year. On the Girls side, Ava Frazier of Austin, TX, put together a performance to remember, pulling away from the field with a commanding 12-shot victory to claim her first Overall Girls title of the season and the third of her career. July came to an exciting close in Houston at the Prestige Tour Open at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club, where standout performances capped off another thrilling weekend of championship golf. Pablo Mora of The Woodlands, TX fired an even-par final round to capture his first Boys 11–14 title of the season and the second victory of his Prestige Tour career. In the Boys 15–18 Division, Ryan Lopez of Houston, TX put on a clinic with a bogey-free 67 to earn his first win of the year and second career Prestige Tour title.
