La Porte, TX (October 4-5, 2025) – The STPGA Srixon Prestige Tour made its way to Bay Forest Golf Course for the Bay Forest Junior Championship, a tournament rich in tradition. Since 1990, the Bay Forest Cup has been a staple in junior golf, and this year’s event carried that same legacy of great competition and memorable moments. Over two days, players battled through challenging conditions and showcased their talent, adding another exciting chapter to the tournament’s long history.

Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - August The Srixon Prestige Tour team kicked off the month of August in Houston at BlackHorse Golf Club (North) for the STPGA Challenge . Carson Klein of Tomball, TX secured his first Srixon Prestige Tour victory with a commanding performance, maintaining a six-shot lead on the back nine. In the Girls Division, Lora Kim of Katy, TX fired an impressive final-round 69 to capture her first Overall Srixon Prestige Tour title. The Tour remained in Houston for the Prestige Tour Open at Gleannloch Pines Golf Club, where London Fowlkes of Houston, TX earned her third win of the season. On the boys' side, Luke Janik, also of Houston, TX, claimed his first career Srixon Prestige Tour title with consecutive rounds of 68. Next, the Tour traveled to New Braunfels for the Surf & Turf New Braunfels Showcase at Landa Park Golf Course. William Mangione of Austin, TX recorded back-to-back rounds of 69 to earn his third win of the season. Addison Braden of San Antonio, TX delivered a standout performance, highlighted by an eagle on Hole #13, en route to her first career Srixon Prestige Tour victory. August concluded with a return to BlackHorse Golf Club (North) for the H-Town Showdown . Muci Guo of Bellaire, TX and Cody Borden of The Woodlands, TX each captured their second win in the 13-14 age division, as well as their first Overall Srixon Prestige Tour titles of the year. 2025 Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches - TeamSTPGA Team STPGA emerged victorious at the 10th Annual Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches, held earlier this month at the prestigious Shady Oaks Country Club. Representing the Southern Texas PGA, 12 standout junior golfers competed in two days of match play competition against the Northern Texas PGA team. Team STPGA set the tone early, dominating Day 1 with a commanding performance. They secured victories in both the four-ball and foursome formats by a margin of 4.5 to 1.5 in each session, establishing a strong 9–3 lead heading into the final day. Despite a strong comeback effort from Team NTPGA—who won the singles matches 7–5—Team STPGA’s early lead proved insurmountable. With a final score of 14–10, Team STPGA captured the Ben Hogan Junior Cup title. Congratulations to Captain Savannah Dupre and all 12 members of Team STPGA on this outstanding achievement. Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - September The Srixon Prestige Tour kicked off September at Rayburn Resort Golf Course with the Vortech Contracting Championship. It was a standout event for the sibling duo from Spring, TX—Hugo and Melay Dittrich—who each captured their first Prestige Tour victories of the season in impressive fashion. The Tour then headed west to San Antonio for the Brackenridge Park Classic at the historic Brackenridge Park Golf Course. Mateo Tamez of Helotes, TX claimed his first career Prestige Tour title after a dramatic five-hole playoff. On the girls’ side, Claire McMyler of San Antonio, TX delivered back-to-back rounds of 69 to secure her first overall Prestige Tour win. September concluded in Austin at Legacy Hills Golf Club for the Sun City Showdown . Katelyn Allen of Montgomery, TX earned her first career Prestige Tour win by finishing the tournament at even par. Carlos Castaneda Garza of Austin, TX emerged victorious in a playoff, also capturing his first career Prestige Tour title. Welcome Kevin Reilly! We are excited to welcome Kevin to the Srixon Prestige Tour team as our newest Prestige Tour Coordinator. Originally from Florida, Kevin moved to Houston in 2013 to attend Rice University, where he competed as a member of the Men’s Golf Team. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent the past six years working in ticketing strategy for organizations across MLB, NBA, and MLS. This fall, Kevin will be on-site at several Prestige Tour events, including the Bay Forest Junior Championship at Bay Forest Golf Course on October 4–5. San Antonio, TX (September 13-14) - The Srixon Prestige Tour made its stop in San Antonio this past weekend, and the competition didn’t disappoint. Players showed up ready to battle, trading birdies and big shots across two days of golf. By the end, the leaderboard told the story of a hard-fought event and a weekend to remember.

Cypress, TX (July 31-August 1) - The Srixon Prestige Tour hosted the 2025 STPGA Challenge at BlackHorse Golf Club this past week, with the players shooting over 400 birdies and 17 eagles in the two day tournament. The 2025 STPGA Challenge closed out this July's events with a competitive field, great play and new friendships out on the course.

Srixon Prestige Tour Champions - July Beginning the month of July, the Srixon Prestige Tour team took on Aggieland for the Summer Showdown at Traditions Club! Battling through the obstacles Mother Nature threw our way, Jaxon Graves of Magnolia, TX, and Roberta Alvarez of The Woodlands, TX, won their second Srixon Prestige Tour tournament of the year after the event was deemed to be an 18-hole competition. One short week later, Cypresswood Golf Club (Traditions) hosted the Bayou City Challenge , where Veronika Germain of Houston, TX won her second Srixon Prestige Tour championship, and Anthony Nguyen of Katy, TX made eagle on Hole #18 of Round 2 to secure his first Srixon Prestige Tour win of 2025. Wrapping up July, the STPGA Challenge is currently being hosted at BlackHorse Golf Club (North), where two more Champions will walk away from the golf course with more than memories! 2025 Insperity Invitational Tour Championship What a time it was! In year 2 of the Insperity Invitational Tou r Champio nship , the Srixon Prestige Tour team administered the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship at one of Texas’ most historic facilities, Champions Golf Club, host of the 1969 US Open and 1967 Ryder Cup. From the Practice Round to the Fireside Chat/Q&A with local collegiate coaches to 36-holes of competition golf, the Insperity Invitational Tour Championship was a resounding success! Ryan Lee of College Station, TX, carded back-to-back rounds of a 69 to win by one stroke with a 138 (-4). Payson Pistono of The Woodlands, TX held steady after securing a one-stroke lead going into Round 2. Pistono carded a Round 2 score of 73 (+2) for a tournament total of 143 (+1) to earn herself the win by two strokes total. Lee and Pistono have both earned exemptions to compete on Team STPGA in the 2025 Bayou Cup and fully exempt status on the Legends Junior Tour from September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026! Spring, TX(July 14-15) - The Srixon Prestige Tour hosted the 2025 Bayou City Challenge at Cypresswood Golf Club - Traditions in Spring, Texas. As the day heated up so did the competition but didn't stop our champions, who continued to rise to the challenge, showcasing their incredible skills and determination as they kicked butt and took names on the course.

College Station, TX(July 7-8) - The Srixon Prestige Tour hosted the 2025 Summer Showdown at Traditions Club at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. While Mother Nature certainly tested the competitors with some wet conditions , ultimately leading to the unfortunate cancellation of Round 2, these talented junior golfers refused to be deterred. Despite the short ened format, the resilience and skill displayed by the players shone through, proving that even in adverse weather, true champions rise to the occasion. The determination to perform at their best, even when faced with challenging circumstances, truly highlighted the spirit of junior golf.

Richmond, TX(June 30 - July 1) - The Srixon Prestige Tour hosted the 2025 Boys PGA Junior Championship at Black Hawk Country Club in Richmond, Texas. Juniors battled challenging thunderstorms and hot, humid weather, enduring long days. Nonetheless, they persevered through these conditions, making for a memorable championship.
